I totally get what you are saying AaronJ. I'm having the same dilemma with my doctor. I went to see them on Friday and felt like shit after my visit when I went over my visit print out. Despite the unrelated issue I went in for, I was feeling pretty great about the weight I've lost since the last time I went in. It doesn't help that every time I see her she asks the same question, "Are you a diabetic?" and tests me. Read my ****ing chart lady. If you had, you'd realize that despite my age, height and weight (51, shy of 5'8" & 254) I'm in relatively great shape. Fingers crossed I don't have to go back in before we move. I'll most likely have to start going back to the VA once we move unless I can continue with my current insurance or something slightly better

I'm kind of getting the ass with the new owner. Instead of waiting until the house closed to secure financing for remodeling she decided to do it before. I get the "Boots on the ground" approach and wanting to save money, but I'm tired of making accommodations with appointments while we're trying to get packed up

Yeah, I think we've kind of had it. Our broker came by with carbon monoxide detectors and took pictures for the appraiser last night. So we all had a discussion about this. Apparently the bank that she is trying to get the loan through doesn't realize this isn't part of our deal

Odd experience with a driver ahead of me. When we're approaching a red light he gets into the left turn lane. Then he decides he wants to move back into my lane and gets the front half of his vehicle into the lane. Then when the light turns green, what does he do? Gets back fully into the left turn lane! And turns left!

On Monday I spoke to my friend. The one who said she doesn't give out her phone to guys even to male friends.
I confessed how I felt about the entire situation. She apologized for hurting my feelings in any way and explained more in depth why she wouldn't give me her number. She said it's her own personal decision. A few years back she had some drama after giving her number out to a guy. Since then she doesn't trust any dude with her number. Even those who are her friends like myself. We agreed to exchange emails and communicate that way. So I was happy with that compromise. I mentioned how I only see her as a friend/younger sister and not romantically interested in her. She goes, "even if you were, I would never date you." Curious I asked why. And she explained she only "dates those who share the same beliefs of Christianity as her." Then come yesterday, she hands me this book saying how she thought of me after reading it. The book talks about worldviews. She was interested in knowing what my worldview is. So I read the book, followed the directions inside and got my results. It said I was a pluralist, but found myself having more traits of a quasi-theist personality. Our conversation continued after where she didn't understand how I respect all cultures and religions. I had to explain to her that there are no right or wrong beliefs and everyone has their own personal opinions of faith. She couldn't grasp that concept saying how Christianity is the only truth in the world. Afterwards, she asked what I thought about abortions. I said I see myself as pro-choice because that's allowing a woman to make her own decision in aborting the child or being pro-life and keeping it. I am not the one to tell someone what they should do with their body. That is their personal temple. Do what you want with it. Again, she protested my views. And now I think she sees me as someone who's "comfortable with murdering babies" as that's the last thing she said walking away.... |

^^OK, not going to quote all that jayman3, but I think you need to stir clear of that train wreck of a person. Based on what you just posted it seems like you've got a good head on your shoulders. One thing I will say is you can't maintain what you can't control. So don't worry about what that person thinks of you.
