I agree with you completely. The purpose of shareplay is to allow someone else to play your game, exactly what that kid did. Sony created it for that purpose, and game developers are aware of its existence. It is not, in effect, cheating anymore than handing the DS4 to your brother would be cheating. If you think sharing a game is cheating worthy of punishment, then maybe you take it a little bit too seriously. Especially given, as you say, the exploits that have been taken advantage of in this and most games. Even if you do think it's cheating, it's not the other gamer's place to enforce the rules and decide what the penalty should be.

What I really wanted to bring up, though, was that this occasion also exposes one big flaw in Destiny's model of saving user data exclusively on their servers. The end user has no ability to protect their games from this type of mischief or from a potential failure by Bungie to protect the integrity of these games. All it would take is a hacker with skill and grudge. What might happen to future DLC sales if millions of Destiny gamers lost the guardians they've been nurturing for almost six months?

Feels good though getting a Hard raid done in about 45 minutes and then 2 quick Normal Crotas in under an hour and half total after reset lol

Finally got Warlock chest piece so I can be a real 32

2nd Hunger of Crota and more crappy helmets with no regen

Thanks for the Late night Crew Hard Crota raid, they let me in right after the witches. My Lowly 31 Warlock got a Nice helmet, also my first win on hard mode. So now I'm on my way to level 32. Thanks Again
