Did their release of Scream have HDR? There’s no mention of HDR on that listing either.

Scream Factory’s BD of Final Exam is crap though (mediocre source and a mediocre encode on a BD-25) so a fresh 4K scan should be a big improvement with or without HDR.

"Scream" didn't have HDR, but "The Dead Pit" did. No clue about "Final Exam" as there is no mention of it in the description.

I wouldn't go so far as to call the blu crap, but yeah a 4K scan should be an improvement. Still, to not take advantage of the biggest improvement the UHD format offers would be a big disappointment.

I agree that the SF BD is crap. The audio has terrible sibilance as well which I'm really hoping is fixed with the new release.

Final Exam ordered. Hey, Dave, how about Savage Streets next? Isn't that one from the same licensor(s)? You may have to beat people off with a stick just to control the volume of orders lol.

Ya perhaps, but I know they also have an upcoming double feature #19 so maybe they will have a 2pac with that so I may just wait.

Hopefully more copies of Dead Pit 4k go up in the future, I’ll probably keep my OG glow in the dark slipcover though that new art is horrendous

Gates of Hell was just given a UHD release which by most accounts is a nice upgrade over previous blu-ray releases.

Hell Yes!! I'm not upgrading many movies to UHD, but Savage Streets is an all timer... would be all over that in a heartbeat. I have a feeling another label will take care of that one.

Are these new 4K Dark Force titles with the slipcovers site exclusives, then non-slip versions will be available through other outlets? I noticed that GHV has the Scream (81) UHD as a 6/23 pre-order. Thanks.
