Turbine launched an investigation with DHL a few weeks ago.

They need to hurry up with that shit, my PayPal dispute finger is getting itchy.

You just got to love Kino and Shout's quality control. Just for the Columbo set alone, which was my most anticipated release of the year, there were ten discs with scratches on them. Not to mention crushed booklet, corners and sides. Oh well.

The last shipment of 2023.

I've heard a thing or two about Shout Factory's quality control or lack thereof, but I was still not entirely prepared. While I'm glad that I finally own the Larry Fessenden Collection, the packaging is worse than even the few bootlegs in my collection. The first surprise was the sticker on the back saying "oh yeah, some of the features that are listed on the back cover - they're not really there, and we also got some years wrong". Then the cover which is way too large for the case, and finally the cheap case itself, with discs barely having anything to hold on to. The slip is all right, though, but please tell me that this is not the norm for them.

Ordered a Bride of Frankenstein jigsaw about the same time. It's a toss up between which one comes with more pieces. Arrived in a decent box with air-cushions.
