TNA smells a bit cleaner right now without Russo.

TNA President Dixie Carter has provided an update on the health of TNA wrestler Jesse Sorensen, who suffered a bad neck injury (a fractured C1 vertebrae) at the recent TNA Against All Odds pay-per-view.

Dixie Carter tweeted:

“@TNASorenson met w/doctors this wk & is out for up to a yr. We’re blessed he will be back at all. He’s staying positive. No comment on Zima.”

Sorensen also wrote about his recovery on Twitter this week, telling fans:

“To all the fans who continue to keep me in your thoughts & prayers, I want to say thank you! I am getting stronger everyday. #TexasTough”

Wrestling Observer Newsletter editor Dave Meltzer revealed that TNA Wrestling is having financial difficulties as talent and vendors are frequently paid for their services on a delayed basis.

"Vendors and wrestlers are paid late all the time," he wrote on the F4WOnline.com message board. "Janice Carter controls the purse strings. Only a certain amount of money over what they bring in can be spent and it's prioritized where it goes."

Janice Carter, who is the mother of TNA Wrestling President Dixie Carter, gained complete control of the company's purse strings in 2010 reportedly as to put a stop to her daughter's lavish spending sprees after their financial losses were more than parent company Panda Energy International was willing to tolerate. Meltzer reported in January that Carter has set a doctrine of only allowing TNA what is "deemed necessary" in terms of funding as to keep financial losses to a minimum.
Considering this is the first post here since March 2nd, this news is even easier to believe.

TNA is lucky if it'll last another 10 years.

Yeah, I'm getting the bad vibe here....like just before ECW went down for the count. Unless they can turn it around in the next year or two...I give it 5 years and then the Beer Money's and MCMG's will be heading to the E....

I see WWE eventually snapping up Matt Morgan, Crimson, MCMG, AJ Styles, and Beer Money IF TNA were to fold.

I have high expectations for this match since it's gotten a 6 month build up. I am actually a bit more pumped for this match than I was for Rock/Cena.

This needs to be a clean match, no run ins, just a straight up wrestling match to solidify these 2 as big names.

This and the MCMG vs Joe & Magnus are the only 2 matches I am interested in.

Well Storm vs Roode was doing GREAT until the Dusty/Russo finish.

Lethal Lockdown was the 2nd worst version of the match EVER,only one worse was the 1st Official Lethal Lockdown match at the 1st Lockdown PPV.(Of course with Garrett Bischoff & Gunner starting for the 1st 5 minutes it was already a possibility but the weapons didn't come in to play that much, and there was no Big Spot in the match as in the past several years.

Devon vs Robbie E was crap,I like the idea of the TV Title but it hasn't been used properly since its inception. The only thing I can see this is leading up to is a Pope(when he returns) vs Devon feud that will maybe elevate the TV Title a bit.

The Knockouts Tag Team Championship was somewhat entertaining, but it should have been on the pre-show if it had to happen.

The rest was pretty good tho(MOTN being Angle vs Hardy, and Storm vs Roode would have been if not for the finish as I said),and color me surprised that Velvet Sky vs Gail Kim wasn't a stinker.

And it didn't help that the crowd was DEAD for 98% of the PPV,with the exception of the cheers over Garrett Bischoff getting beat down, and the Bullsh*t chants after the Main Event.

And it looks like they are building to Hogan vs Flair AGAIN probably for Bound For Glory. The matches between the 2 were never that good to begin with and now with Hogan not being able to do any kind of bump that requires falling down(watch the Sting/Hogan BFG match last year,he had to lightly go to 1 knee while be pummeled by a chair) and can't hit the Leg Drop anymore, and thats not even mentioning that Flair(& Hogan) are to damn old to be wrestling period,it just flatout SUCKS.

Intercontinental Champion Christian will be at Slammiversary.

Macho Man is also rumored to be inducted into the Hall of Fame for TNA.

I can't wait to see Christian there. Will be really odd seeing a current WWE performer appear for TNA on television.

I'd even pay for the PPV...

But TNA PPV's are free over here anyway..just played a few days later..with ad breaks

I really like TNA and I've watched them since they started, so as a wrestling fan, I'm very happy that they've made and lasted this far.

Any watch the PPV? Really good I thought! All good solid matches and no silly segments/skits. Just straight up wrestling. The opening match between Joe and Aries was the best. Seeing Christian was fun too.

The tag team titles match was off the charts awesomeness. Overall a very solid outing for TNA.
