That's a great reason, and add that to the reduced print (because of reduced articulation) and I'd say go for it. It looks really awesome.

Wow, over 30 now?

I have more or less 30 sixth scale figures which also includes the vehicles from HT and SSC which I have accumulated over 5 years. Six months is really pushing it unless you own an oil refinary in your backyard...

Both of you , actually...

How many figures do you have now? I am guessing more than 50...

Your photos really re-kindled my passion for Sixth Scale figures.

Yeah, around there I think. I did just recently sell off all of my Batman related figures though. They were basically all replaced with Star Wars figures.

Here's what I have atm (off the top of my head) -
[Show spoiler]
Luke
Obi Wan
Vader
Han
Chewie
Stormtrooper single
Stormtrooper double
Boba Fett 1/4 scale (decided to sell it though)

Classic Predator
Dutch
Celtic Predator
Scar Predator
Ancient Predator
Grid Alien
Dog Alien
Alien Warrior AvP:R
Alien Warrior Aliens

Robocop Diecast
Battle Damaged Robocop
Alex Murphy
ED-209

T-800 DX13 (T2 battle damaged)
T-800 MMS238 (T1 battle damaged)
T-1000

The Crow
Hellboy
Dredd (art figures)

I was close, 28.

If I didn't sell off a few I'd be there, but I'm at 41 currently. Just about done for a good while. Just waiting on Princess Leia and a few of the Force Awakens figures.

Happy to hear that man! 1/6 scale is the best for two reasons: Amazing detail for the scale, and you can have a big collection without taking up a ton of space. Compared to 1/4 scale which demands so much.

This is an addictive hobby. I started buying Hot Toys and such for my birthday this past March and now i have.....

Black Widow from Winter Soldier
Star-Lord
Gamora
Gremlin from Twilight Zone
Captain America Steve Rogers 2 pack
Bruce Banner from Avengers

I also have a few Sideshow pieces with...
3 episode 2 droids
Snake Plissken (movie not game)
R2-D2

Very very addictive and very very expensive.

Yup. I started with just a Christopher Reeve Superman 1/6th Scale Figure that I swore would be a single, solitary collection all on its own. Now...

Indiana Jones
Jack Sparrow
Joker (Heath Ledger)
Iron Man
Thor
Nathan Drake
Baby Doll
Marty McFly

...I'm also eyeballing for the upcoming film version of Deadpool. Any future release of Star Lord, Captain America, or Doc Brown will also grab my attention.

It's a dangerous hobby to get into for certain. Originally I thought that steelbooks were a bad hobby! Boy... was I wrong on that one!

Yeah, I agree sixth scale is just about right, not too small and not too big. Affordable price also though it is slowly increasing the past few years.

You guys in America have it sweet,if I want a figure there's the exchange rate which has tanked for us down under then custom fees and shipping.Even though we can buy some figures locally it is still very expensive compared to you guys.

Yeah, it's pretty close in price honestly. For instance, I just packed up the 1/6 scale Mark 43 to sell and order the 1/4 scale version that's about to arrive at the Sideshow warehouse. There's a $200 difference between the two scales of the same figure. ($345/$545) But the paint work, proportions, accessories, light up features, and Tony head sculpt are all much better thanks to the bigger scale. It's a worthy upgrade.

Right now, as a Canadian, a $234.99 USD figure would cost me around $420 from Sideshow Collectibles in my native currency. It really sucks. Best price I can be quoted in Canada is $350. That is to pick it up in store (not delivered), does not include the 12% tax, and is "not a guaranteed final price at time of release."

Yeah, Sideshow/Hot Toys needs to get something worked out with international retailers. Popcultcha in Australia is the authorized distributor of Hot Toys there, same as Sideshow is here in America. They need that in Canada and Europe.

yea it sucks, I'd prefer 1/6 just because of spacing and the price was nice, but now you got prices like http://www.sideshowtoy.com/collectib...t-toys-902343/ which is only $10 less than my Dr. Doom 1/4

Seems every year even the lowest priced ones have been steadily creeping up
