I might cancel it and order standard version, not only will i be saving money but with the remaining amount i can purchase at least 1 or 2 other blu ray movies too.

Any thoughts anyone?
You have a chance to own a piece of horror history either way. Just depends on how much you love the film.

Keep the order.

When you receive it and if you finally decide you don't want it, sell it for the retail price of $80 and make $20. It will probably be sold out everywhere by then so both you and the buyer will be happy.

I like the idea of gift-wrap...will remember that one on future orders.

I could not add the gift-wrap option to my open Amazon pre-order, though. I chatted with a CSR and he could not do it either. It's strange because I am able to make this change to any of my other pre-orders. Oh well!

Fingers crossed that it comes packaged well.

I ordered 15 on Amazon, (1 to keep and 14 to re-sell), so I am not too worried about receiving at least 1 of them in perfect shape.

It comes out in 3 months and it's about $30 bucks more, I'm sure you can cut out $10 a month for 3 months then you wont even feel like you spent extra. Better to have now than to want it later at a higher price.

Just my two cents.

We all knew that was going to happen, now amazon has run out, international customers who want this are left with very few options,eBay unfortunately is one of them.
I don't think it will get Fright Night prices but if you really wanted this title you should of pulled the trigger earlier.
Those debating on purchasing it who have an order placed should cancel their order and let someone who actually wants the film order it.

I ordered it and am still debating. Why should people have to cancel for having a little foresight?

Probably not until after we get a Collector's Edition of Clive Barker's Lord of Illusions.

It's selling for between $140 and $200 already.

This is a blind buy for me, and I was able to buy a LE, those who are huge fans should also be able to buy it.
There are a few members on here that have already voiced support, how do we do this?
Can we do a group PM to discuss?

EDIT: PM'd a few of you.

The original story for part 4 sounded interesting before the studio messed with it. Does that footage exist or was it all changed before filming? And Inferno was damn good, probably my 3rd favorite flick in the franchise.

That seems to be asking prices on eBay but have any sold yet? I am hoping most are smarter like another member posted to seek out other vendors for the title like Shout and Diabolik (for international shipping)

I'm not good at judging how fast it will sell out.. I was wrong with amazon I thought it would have been gone withing 24-48 hrs. It did last a bit longer... I expect it to be sold out by the release date, but honestly within the next couple weeks. (I'm sure I'm wrong)

Yes those are sold prices, 7 out of the last 10 sold and most seems to be around $160 average.

Yeah, cheaper to order from Shout directly which still has it for pre-order at $80.

Why are people (6 completed auctions, with bids or buy it now) paying over $200 on ebay for this when they can still get it from Shout or other vendors for $80? I am really confused.

I requested cancellation of my order from Scream Factory this AM and have yet to get a response. I did it through the contact us boxes. Did I do it correctly?

I think it's what Sodslaw said earlier, International customers due to the fact Scream Factory won't ship overseas.
