How much better will the Moneyball and Pineapple Express releases be? Are they worth paying the extra money or are these just a gimmick?

We won't know until screen captures.

How about TAS, GB, or Taxi Driver? Were they worth it for those who don't own a copy?

So peoples opinions that don't concur with you is nonsense? You call yourself an elitist but have a problem spelling color! Please how is this not a cash grab? Why not add extras and other cuts? "Being Cheap" If they did that, I would of not of said anything about these releases and probably would of bought a couple.

Because if they did include the extras they would raise the price to $19.99 & you probably would be complaining about the price being too high on a double dip.

I have no problem with a movie only with great PQ for $14.99

Why would they charge extra? There is alot of space left on these disk? Port the extras over.

The European spelling is colour. Don't comment on another poster's spelling with your atrocious grammer, please.

I'm curious... do you folks who like extras actually re-watch 90% of these things, or watch a movie with a commentary more than once? I've always found it a bit of a chore honestly.

Because if you put extras on the price would increase.

Don't tell me you wouldn't be complaining about the price going up.

I would take a movie only with better PQ for $14.99 over a movie with extras for $19.99 anytime.

If in the past there was a movie only release I would save the money & get the movie only. If you wanted the one with the extras it was always a higher price.

As much as you have complained in this thread about a cash grab I couldn't imagine how much you would be complaining if they had added the extras & the price would have gone up.

I said this in my last response.

If you don't like the product why are you even in this thread?

Because this literal same discussion wasn't good enough a couple weeks ago and needs to be repeated every single time a new release is announced.

Does this endless back and forth happen in a lot of other threads or is this Groundhog Day unique to just this one?

Why would the price increase? We are talking about Bonus Features that already exist, not new materials that have to be created from scratch.

Besides, look at all feature-laden discs that are being sold for $10 or less.

I've done it a few times, but that's besides the point. Does the person who owns 500+ BDs rewatch all of them? If they do, God bless them as they must not have kids to afford such free time.
I can't speak for everyone, but I don't always use the power sunroof in my car, and certainly don't need it to get get from Point-A to Point-B...but it's nice to know it's there when I do want to use it.

Other companies like Warner release movie only editions at a cheaper price. I don't see people complaining about them.

I'm not that fond of Sony but I've been impressed with the movies I have bought from the 4k mastered line.

I think the bigger display you have, whether it can displace xvycc color, how good a quality of display you have, etc does help.

I agree with the other poster that having this discussion day in & day out in this thread really weighs the thread down.

If you don't want to buy a movie only then move on already.

You've missed the point entirely. Warner and Fox's movie-only editions have the same PQ/AQ as the discs with Bonus Features.

Here, we're being asked to choose between improved PQ (at least with Ghostbusters, Glory, and Spider-Man 1) and Bonus Features when the new discs with improved PQ have between 10 to 20 GB of empty space.
