I've just received official word: the announcement that I was expecting to share today has been delayed until Monday, June 11. My sincere apologies but there's nothing I can do about it.

Just remember: good things come to those who wait!

It's taken six decades for these films to start to become available as they were supposed to be seen. What's a few more days?

Knowing there are a string of titles in the pipeline gives me hope enough, the specifics can wait.

Us 3D fans love this media. I don't have every title released but have over 275 3D Blu-rays in my collection already and am always on the lookout for more. It's disappointing that you could not share the information of this coming release until next Monday. But think of the fun we will have guessing until then.

My top 3 In my FAT CHANCE category (other than Revenge of the Creature) I'm hoping for

Money From Home
Hondo
The French Line

Well ... what's another 72 hours in the grand scheme of things. You don't have to stay awake at the computer until Monday.

I wonder how many films in 1953 and 1954 were considered for 3-D and then 3-D tests were shot before a decision was made. I wonder if those 3-D tests could be found in the vaults today.

Bob, not only are you leading the charge to restore these films and get them back into the public consciousness, but you're a one-man hype team -- and an effective one, too.

Bob you have absolutely nothing to apologize for. No one does more for our format than you.

The fun part is we have a couple more days to speculate as to what the announcement pertains to. It could actually be something that nobody expects?

As long as it's just not me. Maybe it's a temporary thing because of the impending announcement? Need my 3-D Film Archive site, though.

Exciting news about Revenge of the Creature. Looking forward to seeing it the right way and not the badly done Anaglyph version.

When people in the industry compare the comfortable stereo alignment in Revenge to the problematic first one that 3-D Film Archive wasn't allowed to work on, they will begin to realize just how important a service the Archive provides. This package is going to work out very well for the 3-D Film Archive.

Hope Revenge gets a stand-alone release as well.

What was the name of gentleman who introduced It Came From Outer Space at the last Expo, anyone remember? His name on the tip of my tongue, so to speak. It wasn't Bradbury this time.

Dennis Bartok refused to let anyone do introductions so it may have been him. His intros were pretty lame.

Despite the fact that most of the prints had been found and recombined by yours truly, the only one I was allowed to intro was ROBOT MONSTER.

Jack Theakston did a few and - as expected - they were excellent.
