no points for code redeems, it was a glitch. points are for purchases only.

Nothing here I really want since I already have Purge and Moonrise Kingdom. I recall Leap Year being dull (and I'm a guy who loves a good rom-com). I'm curious about Nanny McPhee because I love Emma Thompson, but is it too childish?

About like Mary Poppins. It's different, but similar. No animation or songs, so the plot is maybe stronger and it feels slightly more grown up. It's a cute, fun movie.

Recently I was on myuniversalrewards.com and I was trying to redeem my reward points for U571. After logging in and clicking on redeem for U571, a message popped up that basically indicated that I don't have permission to redeem for a movie code because I'm only at the "Extra" level of membership. In order to move up to Screenwriter, you have to buy (apparently not just redeem) at least one digital movie.

Reading the description of the services, it says that Extra's can "...redeem rewards..." even though it wouldn't let me.

I have over 1000 reward points, so it's not like I didn't have enough points to get the movie code. Are the instructions incomplete, or am I missing something? Is there actually a rule that says even if you have enough points, you cannot redeem to get a free movie code unless/until you've PURCHASED a Universal digital movie (not just redeem a code from a physical that you've bought)?

This is fantastic that they update every month now!!! I agree, Sony needs to get on board with this, and Disney needs to start with digital reward redemption's too.

That was my hesitation too - that it might be too childish. But I'll give it a chance at the price of free.

Plus it has Thomas Brodie-Sangster, how is it even possible that he is 30 in The Queen's Gambit?

Nanny McPhee is a definitely a family movie, but it's a very good one. If I didn't already have it, I would've jumped on it.

Emma Thompson is great, as always.

As for Thomas Brodie-Sangster, he has always looked young. He was almost 14 during the filming of Nanny McPhee but could have easily passed for 10 or 11. (His age is never specified in the movie.)

There's a sequel with Emma Thompson and a new family (including a young Asa Butterfield), which is not as good IMO, but it's still decent enough.

I have over 27,000 points for this (even after the latter redemptions I mention) and I haven't even put in Freaky and multiple other newer releases because I'm lagging. I was trying to hoard for the physical rewards and skipped the digital movies because of that (that and I own a LOT of Universal movies on digital lol). But the new additions I couldn't really resist! Picked up Leap Year and Moonrise Kingdom for now. I thought I had The Purge in UHD but realized I do not so maybe I'll go for that.

Now if only Sony could take a note on the movie refreshes Universal does!
