I hope this is good and there isn't too much tinkering being done in post. Reshoots coming after reports of a poor test screening have me worried. Everybody seemed to be excited by what they'd made, and then I start hearing test audiences disliked the ending and now it's going back for reshoots, presumably to change the ending?

Really? I don't remember the details of the posts now but I recall them sounding like the general reaction of the test audience was that they enjoyed the movie until the end and that's when it lost them.

Lots of movies have reshoots, you just don't hear about them because they're not Halloween.

I’m soooooo ****ing excited!!

But if the trailer is dropping on Friday, then that means it’s probably not going to be attached to Hereditary, since the first showings will be on Thursday.

The trailer is dropping online Friday. It’s probably being sent out to theaters tomorrow, and if it is, expect it to leak on Thursday lol

Idk, cause usually it’s the other way around. The trailer drops online first then it plays with whatever new film shows on Thursday. But I guess we’ll see.

I want so bad to see this movie but hate looking forward to post-summer weather...I'm soooo conflicted!

I do think this movie should open up with the ending of Halloween, similar to how Halloween II opened up. Just so the general audience/casuals knows how the previous movie ended and aren't lost in what the storyline this movie is following.
