I need to re-watch Predators and see if it's still as mediocre as I remember it.

Just going for the first one here. Total classic. I really hope they do this right.

They really want to make that 3 pack seem like a bargain.

I am old. I don't have time to re-watch movies I saw but don't really like too much.
As someone has said before, watching a movie you don't like is two hours of your life you cannot get back.

I'll end up getting the triple pack so I can get Predator 2. I love the first two films. Predators can suck an egg. Hopefully they're individual cases.

Anybody who gets the 3 pack but hates the first movie -- I'll take it off your hands.

Man, Predators is so middle-of-the-road that I watched it, thought "Well that sucked. Don't think I ever need to see that again." I went on with my life, and within a week or so I forgot about it entirely.
Is it a disaster? Nah. I consider kind of a non-entity. I might look at it for a bit - or leave it on while doing other things - when I get the set, so I can listen to the audio and see the video and add that to my list of "watched it, and the transfer was good/bad/average".

I actually liked Predators a lot. Watched it like 4 times on blu-ray. Very hyped for all three. How long until we'll know what the packaging is like?

I disliked it in the theater, but upon a second viewing much later I liked it a bit more. My biggest gripe with it is that it is a little too reverent to the first Predator, to the point where it sometimes crosses the line from homage to plagiarism.

But I'd personally hold it above the AvP films at least.

It's not very well directed, but it has a lot of standout fun scenes and some enjoyable performances from Topher Grace and others. I find that people in this thread are really hyperbolic about it, especially while praising the similarly uneven Predator 2.

Predator 2 is a shit fest. But at least it’s a guilty pleasure.

Predators tried so hard to be a real movie, and literally turned itself into cinematic ambien.

Seems like we’re the only ones who enjoyed all three and excited to get the set. Roll on August 6th

The other thing that was bad, was the marketing. The trailers narrate the group are the deadliest killers. Huh? And the fact it showed that misleading shot of multiple predator-laser targets on Brody.

I cancelled my original order and reordered for the $51.29 + $2 promo for $49.29 + tax -- just to lock in. The price in this new order is listed as a base price of $51.29 with a $2 promo; so hopefully, if the price drops further, it will be reflected in the base price with the $2 as an additional promo addon.
Nope. When the price fell to $47, lost the $2 promo. Bummer.

Last time I watched Predators it seemed not bad for the first half but really went downhill second half.

Its not that I hate it, I just don't want to see it again particularly.

Whereas Predator 2? Yep I want that!

Well the UK set looks to be a single case housing the 6 discs so could be the same for the US.

Obviously not that reliable but the Amazon stock image has quite a wide spine so I'm guessing slipcase with three black 2-disc eco-cases.

I'll wait to see if Walmart gets this in like they did with the Planet of the Apes set.

By the look of things, i'll be able to depart with my standalone blus of Predator 2 and Predators but will still need to hang onto the old 2008 blu-ray of the first film.
