Unless they were going to do some early bird pre-orders I believe this is a 1 and done for me. Between the holidays, my anime plus anime related hobbies and other hobbies I’m pretty broke anyway.

Looks like it’s mostly some long sold out collectors editions and some older DVD releases that were found in the “vault” to me.

I can’t find a list. Probably for the best they did not to give everyone a more fair chance. I went to products selected Anime Limited then selected in-stock then product type collectors editions then selected releases old to new. I honestly did not see a whole lot but there were a few long sold out releases that returned.

The free shipping threshold going to £150 has pretty much killed it for me. That's basically spending a minimum of US$200. I have 6 Collector's Edition titles in my cart to get it over £150, but only one of the titles is actually in the sale, and it is just a movie, so not much of any savings on the overall order other than my 15% animeUNlimited code. All but one are titles I already have US standard releases of, so I would be double-dipping just for chipboard cases. I guess it is time to finally give up on importing CE sets and concentrate on US standard releases, which take up less shelf space anyway. It's been a fun 10 year run with importing from AL, but I'm out of shelf space and need to start being more selective with the titles I buy.

Totally. I had this scheduled time marked and was ready for the flash sale. Wanted to beat the crowd on any possible "vault" stuff. But it's nothing. That was a big whiff. Not a single doorbuster that will get me to pull the trigger with the four things I've been waiting to order. Plus there will be more daily flash sales. I don't even see any further discounts from the previous week on this stuff I have carted.

I certainly don't have 'mystery box money' to spend all willy nilly when there's so many other things I need to buy.

Finished my Gundam (I only ever bought the basic UK sets), grabbed the Black Lagoon and Jellyfish sets, grabbed the Ino-Oh and recycle of Penguindrum collectors sets along with a couple cheap ones since I had free shipping anyway(Blood C, Burn the Witch, Hulla Fulla) and another Cardcaptor set to resell or something. Oh and a TV mystery box, usually a good deal. Plus the clearance box.

Glad I held out for Cardcaptor Sakura from last year. Down from £50 for both parts to £19.99, not bad at all. The free shipping threshold is annoying though, had to lose voucher discount on one item to push the BOGOF ones over the threshold.

At least stuff isn't going to sell out quickly. That gives me some time to think this week, and wait for possible flash deals.

It would cost me ~$240 to get the 5 sets I want to order. That is..not good.

Once again, shipping things across the ocean is quite expensive. I'm surprised there's even a free shipping threshold at all. I do wonder how much shipping things from the UK internationally has increased in price over the past few years if it's anything like the increases for Japan Post as those have gone up significantly the last couple of years, though much of that is due to the weak yen (though the yen is gaining some strength back due to Trump's tariff threats, was at $=155 recetly, now down to $1=149).

I wanted the Lupin CE, but £52 vs £10....

Golden Time swaps out my Animatsu copy for the English dub.

IIRC from the showcase video a few days ago, there'll be 3 days with flash sales happening at 9am and 5pm.
