Ended up getting about 30 used blu rays from Blockbuster yesterday. Couldn't pass up the $0.99 price tag. I got 6 without cover art but was able to find some online for all the movies besides...

Starting a Battlestar Galactica set. I picked up the full series from the UK, and it has the terrible ratings logos all over the place on the spines, each season is split into at two separate Amaray cases; it's all kind of a mess.

I know the US complete-series-set comes in the box rather than standard Blu-ray cases, and I wanted something that will be visually consistent (on the spines, at least):



Yes, I'm including Caprica in there -- it's only on Blu-ray in France of all places, but I just ripped my DVDs and burned the contents onto two Blu-ray discs for consistency.



Not sure when I'll get to the next sets, maybe one a weekend if time permits.

Anyone do covers for some of the Woody Allen films released in other countries and who would be willing to share? Or is there someone on here who would be able to design some using the original poster artwork, etc. for a small fee?

I want to pick up this set http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00FZ8CW4O which has five of his films - Everyone Says I Love you, Small Time Crooks, Mighty Aphrodite, Celebrity, and Bullets over Broadway and put them in standard Blu-ray cases with English friendly cover art.

Looks good. One thing I prefer is that the spine have the season number displayed vertical so I can easily see what number each is rather then having to tilt my head to read the season # word from the spine.

Also since the show takes place mostly on a ship, would be nice for one cover to show the bsg ship.

Looking forward to the scene pics. Although having each a different size does seem to throw the uniformity of the cover off. Perhaps make them all one size but blended into each other with slight overlap blur that is common on many covers.

Well, I've already done the Caprica cover that way -- once it's printed out and you can't see the front (when looking at the back), it seems to work fine, as it's centered on the back panel. It's symmetrical, with 1, 3, and 5 being one size and 2 and 4 being slightly larger. It does appear to be different sized when shown on an angle in the preview.

Here is a single slip case insert for SILENT MOVIE. Since I had purchased the Brooks films separately, SILENT MOVIE was one that never got a single release….
