There's no real pattern. Sometimes a couple months, sometimes a couple years.

I should also say that while I find it unlikely, it wouldn't surprise me if they were able to convince Sony to let them release the New Hollywood films individually. That's simply a large Blu-ray commitment for a company like Criterion to commit to at once (even with Sony doing a lot of the heavy lifting).

Well, considering that "Cronos" was hinted at last year in the newsletter...

Even though, now it's supposed to be coming in December.

It's random. Breathless was announced weeks after it's newsletter but some takes months, even a year.

I wouldn't mind some Kurosawa, in a couple of months, now that the Seven Dwarfs is out of the way. But I think they need more Jap directors before another of his films go to blu IMO. Teshigahara, Imamura, etc.

I don't care if they call me "Stupid American" or "Whitey". I am White. I am American. Not stupid, but it depends on what am I stupid about. Prob not knowing "Jap" is a bad name.

Atleast we are killing time. Criterion must be laughing if they are reading forums seeing what we do while we wait.

I knew you didn't mean anything by it. I just thought you should know about it that's all.
