B&N currently have a Buy2Get1Free offer on. It's only worth it on the titles that are under $30.

The stuff I've acquired over the last month or so from a mixture of HMV (both the 4 for £10 and 5 for £30 deals), Sainsbury's, Asda, Amazon (Detachment for less than £2!!) and CeX!

I'm not sure why the picture is coming out so small but I think everything is still visible

Not quite a haul, but I'm very happy to have received this. I rarely double dip, but I loved this film when it came out - and the Swedish original too - and I've wanted to import this set for some time now. In perfect condition too - minus those damn stickers.

The Ralph's look good. The X-Files too. I'm not sure about Mulder been upside down but it looks nicely embossed.

Here's what I got Friday 30th August:

I ordered The Naked Gun from Amazon as I have numbers 2 1/2 and 33 1/3 on their way. The other three titles were £3.99 each from the Entertainment Store on Play. I've been looking to get these for a while, so I picked them up while the price was good

Yeah I watched it on Netflix and really enjoyed it so decided to pick it up, and I got it from the Amazon 2 for £10 deal along with Garden State

A few stragglers from last week's HMV 4 for 10 (Ice Age 3 & 4). Flight was from a Play reseller Entertainment store (was about £8.99 in a one day deal) plus Sainsbury's exclusive of Star Trek into Darkness.

Funnily enough that's how I watched it too, when I had a Netflix trial I had browsed the Amazon 2for £10 and hadn't noticed Newcastle in the deal, thanks for that! Looks like I've finally found something to pair Latter Days BD with and buy

Cheers^^^^^^^

Today's haul

Steelbooks

Not impressed with the Star Trek steels. The finish is poor. The Villan ship version has a very low resolution picture too. The Amazon version is better out of the two.

UK - Star Trek into Darkness Amazon Exclusive

UK - Star Trek into Darkness Villan Ship ES Exclusive

Not impressed with the ship. Pretty poor quality. Worse of the 3 I've got.

GE - Hansel und Gretzel Media Markt exclusive

Another awesome steel for this film. The true beauty is underneath the lenticular where we find wonderful spot gloss on the characters and also on the embossed title. Why couldnt star Trek of had the extra treatment????

Slipcovers

UK - The Little Mermaid

UK - Hannibal Season 1

Did the back of anyone else's Hannibal Blu-ray look like this?

The sleeve was sticking up too far when it was shrinkwrapped, which is how it got damaged. It's at least 1 cm too high up

I think I have a problem. This has been what I've managed to pick up over the last couple of weeks. And that's just the stuff I've bought myself, not including the blu-rays I got for my birthday. At this rate I'm going to need to buy a fifth bookcase.

Though I did just add up how much that all came to and it was £59.50, which works out at - near as makes no difference - £3 per blu-ray, so it's not hit my wallet too hard, just my shelving.
