^Not technically the 1933 Kong, NECA described it as a original take on the character.

Still, bit of a buster since they couldn't get collectible license for GvK. Plus it's about two inches taller than their Godzilla figures.

I would have personally liked to have seen McCreary return for the score but honestly, Holkenberg (Junkie) is a solid alternative; glad to see some significant activity and I eagerly await hearing a few tracks before the (hopefully still) November release.

I'm pleased.

I've noticed more and more that they present him as Holkenberg rather than "Junkie XL" as perhaps the audio composing part of movies is a little snob and maybe it's easier for him to gain legitimacy as Holkenberg in named composer news than "JUNKIE XL" which sounds like an extremely heavy drug user.

Bummer - I've been a fan of Bear McCreary since Battlestar, and his score for KOTM (especially his use of the classic themes) was one of that film's many highlights for me.

Ah well - I just hope they release a trailer soon, I'm itching for some new kaiju action. I'll happily wait to see it in a theater, but give me something to get hyped on until then!

I would've like Desplat to come back. G'14 had a good score, but the K:SI and KOTM scores were kinda forgettable.
