Yikes! That Orbit sale crushed these prices. Even Radiance's own BF sale killed it.

I noticed that myself but I went ahead and picked up Iron Prefect for $20 because it's sold out elsewhere. Also got the Castle of Blood DVD for $9 (I'm a Poe fan).

My Imprint order arrived today, essentially jumped from the Clearing Customs status, which it had been in for 2 weeks, to suddenly being out for delivery and then delivered, all on the same day. Like some others have reported, I received a couple nice swag items, an Imprint keychain and a The Gambler coffee cup. Sweet!

At least they didn't try to remove them all before they sent them out.

And I hate rubber bands (trashed one of my slips, if the sticker didn't already, and put a few dents in a couple others).

Plus a couple were in rough-ish shape (I probably will return those), probably somebody else's returns already, they look like it.

(The slips aren't a big deal really, I like shredding things.)

May be my last mvd ("direct") order, not really impressed like I have been in the past. Aka, my first and last oldies order.

For any Canucks perusing this thread, the wait time between shipping and arrival (at least in Toronto) for MVD is exactly one week. My two titles from the recent MVD sale arrived today!

Their prices are more in league with Criterion, yet often the films and transfers and extras don't match Criterion quality. They are my least favorite label to see release announcements from when it's a favorite title.

(I can only hope my 5th grade grammar class teacher doesn't happen to see that last sentence).

Thanks for the heads up on this. Looks like September and October titles now qualify for the discount. I was able to purchased those 2 month's bundles (there's a Sept bundle that includes their Martian Chronicles release as well) and ended up with a great deal, including free shipping.
