Just came across another anti-gun person that's doesn't even know the words he is saying on YouTube.

He is speaking what I like to call Gun Gibberish, all the words are real words, but they are not being said or used correctly to
make a complete understandably cohesive sentence.

And I've heard ( regular people ) anti gun people use these same words like this, so this may be where they got them from

Why are dishes called china? Was the plate invented in the country of China?

i've seen that video before (shortly after it was first posted on youtube). that guy.....he's just.....hell i don't even know the words to use to describe someone like that.

if you want to sound at least a little bit smart, know what the hell you're talking about before you step in front of a microphone.

only true fine china (made of either porcelain or ceramic) is called "china" because that's where it came from. "china" is normally used in a formal settings and "dinnerware" is normally used in casual settings. they can be interchanged for their use. but only true "porcelain/ceramic china" originated from the country of China.

and for the record, i call my regular dishes...dishes. the fine china that i used to have (my sister has it, now) is actual china is it's made of porcelain. it cost way more than a regular set of dishes, and it only gets used on very special occasions (thanksgiving dinner, christmas eve dinner).

"Fine china" refers to porcelain, which originated & evolved in China. Ceramics moreso from Mesopotamia, India & Egypt I do believe.

Oh man, I remember that idiot. (How the cop behind him kept from cracking up, I'll never know.) That's up there with the San Jose Mercury News reporter I saw once whose article about AR-15s said the "AR" stands for "Assault Rifle" and the "15" is because it fires 15 bullets every time you pull the trigger.

If anyone ever says AR means anything other than Armalite Rifle,
than I do not want to get into a conversation with them about Guns.

Now if they said "I do not know what it means do you?", I'd be glad to enlighten them.

I've known what AR means since I was like 15 years old, and I never fired a Gun till I joined the Army at 18yrs.

the show is called the newsroom.

the creator is the same guy who created the west wing....aaron sorkin.

it was on hbo from 2012 to 2014 (not very long). so it's obviously not on, anymore. but you can buy the set on blu-ray.

oh, and the scene posted by LordoftheRings is the opening scene on the show.
