The second disc of season 1 has a scratch and completely locked up my player on the fifth episode. I had to unplug it. First time ever. I tried it again in the same spot and it played right through. Multiple times to be sure, no issues anymore.
4K is such a strange format! |

Only season 4 disc 1 had a problem in my steelbook set, corruption on the warning message and on the menus, wouldn't play any episodes and when you tried it went back to the menu. BB said they would only replace the entire thing, i said no way. Going to be emailing WB. If i can't get a replacement disc I'll contact my CC. I have a panny 820 with updated firmware and didn't run into any problems playing the other discs.

Hello, I have the Italy 4k steelbook season 1-8. The discs are labeled with Italian fonts, the menus on each disc in English. Up to now, season 1 to 3 looked at, not even had a problem. That the discs stay free or tight

Bought mine from BB a couple weeks ago. Finished watching the entire set (excluding extras). There was slight freezing on Season 7 Disc 2 Ep 6 at 10 minutes in for a couple seconds but play continues. It was worse about 20 minutes later in the same episode. I played it back again today to take note but it played flawlessly the 2nd time.
I have an Oppo UDP 205. |

I bought the UK release as I undestand it there are no discs stacked and that's the best price I found,199 Euros plus around 2 Euros for shipping.
I don't mind the UK logos or their thicker cases, I just don't want stacked discs that can become damaged. |

Season 2 disc 1 skips during the intro of episode 2. But played flawlessly during the actual episode and the other two as well. Disc 2 completely locked up my player in a spot, but appears to be okay upon playback after unplugging and restarting it. I haven’t experienced issues to this degree until this set.
Taking note of every issue I experience as I go through. |

If you’re new to this series is it normal to feel like too much is being thrown at you early on? I made it to episode four, but I felt the need to restart. I thought for sure I’d be on at least the second season by now (I bought this day one) but there’s so much stuff being piped into my house that I can’t focus on any one thing. I’ve got Netflix, and DAZN, and PC games on Steam, and 4K movies, and books on my iPad, and AmazonMusic.... man, if you get bored these days you’ve got a serious problem. Back in the day, when I was a kid, all you had on a Sunday night was The Waltons.

I've read the books and have seen all seasons, and the earlier 3-5 seasons I've seen several times. But it's been awhile.
I restarted it when I first got this 4K set and thought "Man, this first episode has a LOT!" No, really, a lot of things happen. Then I watched the 2nd episode and thought "Man, these first 2 episodes have a LOT!" But I don't mix it up with other things. I halt all other shows, and watch 2 EPs of this per night. If I have movies on the stack piling up, I wait for a season of GoT to end, then go through that and/or perhaps a few EPs of some current shows, then start another season of GoT and stick with it. It flows better if you don't try to multitask. Chris |

I purchased the 4K set without a 4K T.V. set (though I do have a 4K player).
I am loathe to replace my 3D TV set up since I own so many 3D BDs, but when I get a bigger place plan on getting a 4K so the purchase was for future use ![]() |
