Yes indeed. I felt the same way and enjoyed that aspect a lot. If your attention lapsed, you'd fall behind because its go, go, go.

Sequel? Please share. I enjoyed it enough to see a sequel to learn how it all pans out.

See Metropolis (1927) if you want to understand where all good Sci-fi has its roots. Lang's imagination was decades ahead. And it was all done without computers.

Most film freaks consider it "Required viewing".

I saw this at the theatre a couple of weeks ago. I agree - a remarkable film!

Overall, this is a must see for fans of true cinema and of films that require something more than idle watching.

I just watched this for the first time. The UK Blu-ray version. It's an incredible film, full of emotion and beauty. Irene Jacob was completely new to me. What a beautiful and talented actress.

Films about identity intrigue me, so that's probably why Mulholland Dr. tops my list. This was a great addition too.

I'm already thinking about when to watch it again.

I remember the first time I saw it years ago. My cousin said, "Just see it. You'll understand once you do."

There are so many things (objects and concepts) in the film that didnt even exist for another 10, 20, 30, 40+ years. VISIONARY!! And the story, at its core, is just as poignant and relevant today. Maybe even more.

I don't know much about it except it's being regarded as having surpassed the first one. The trailer is up on YouTube. Can't post the link sorry, on my iPhone.

+1 Timeless classic sci-fi. A contemplation of the inevitability of change and man's succumbing to modernity.

Ponyo changed my life somewhat. I immediately checked out all of the Studio Ghibli titles that I could find. It's by far my favorite style of animated film.

Let's hope Disney gets Nausicaa right in March.

You know thats on my wishlist. I gotta see all the acclaimed "Masterpieces". I was trying to buy it when Modern Times came out but there was a delay on the blu ray version. I cant wait to see this though

You're not alone. I've stepped up my movie game incredibly. The Seventh Seal was such a good movie. I think i gave it a 4.5/5.
