Mine arrived today but I haven't picked it up yet. I can't imagine mine will be any different so I'll just file for a return and wash my hands of this business. What a trash fire.

EDIT: I enjoy the extra insult with this copy: the first wrong version came with a slipcase, this one doesn't. Good work Amazon! No offer to keep the Blu-Ray either, I have to send the thing back to them for the refund.

They should just refund you and let you keep the Blu-ray version in a situation like this.

And some "alright" prices on some studio 4K releases, as can be seen from the deals tracker. Hopefully there will be some bigger discounts during Prime Big Deal days on October 10. Feels like the ship may have sailed for $9.99 4Ks though.

Yeah, the movie and TV section was very weak. I did end up getting a couple electronic items, but the sales are nothing spectacular.

I was happy to pick up Dune (blu-ray) for $12.76 but needed a better price on Top Gun Maverick ($20.00) to buy that one, too.

Decided to buy MIB 4K trilogy steelbook to upgrade my old DVD 1&2 combo pack. Hopefully is at least an OK deal at $38.88?

Not really. It was $31 back in July and had been <$30 last year.

I think <30 was for the standard packaging as thats how much I spent on mine, but I could be wrong.

I do see the Exorcist 4k is down to $27 as part of the deals, which isn't terrible but kind of what it should have been priced at originally imho

Thanks, that is a much better deal. Yeah, but however misguided I am, do like the steelbook packaging. Sigh, prisoner of my own insanity as packaging does not impact the actual movie watching.

No, it was definitely the steelbook. I have the invoice for my steelbook at $31 and I remember that not being the ATL. I managed to get camelcamelcamel to load and it shows it was $27 in January.

Possibly the worst Prime Day for movies ever? The best deal I found in my Wishlist was Guns of Navarone 4K a whooping $1.11 cheaper than normally.
