This isn't specific to Radiance, but I've always hated Scanavo cases.

They have to make the sleeves larger for those cases, so if you get a broken or warped one, (looking at you, Criterion US), they're a nuisance to replace, as opposed to just swapping them out for a normal case, that I'm sure many of us have lying around.

The 4k release was going for around £10 for a while. Now it's around £30-40. Why, I don't know.

I had an issue with Amazon, and they offered me a £20 credit to my account, so I picked up one of them on sale for £19.99 but they didn't have the other. I went to see with Arrow direct, and had £15 in my Arrow account which came from a refund, I wasn't sure they would even refund the credit I used for another purchase, so that was surprising to see. So using the code managed to get that one for £18 + £3 delivery with my credit coming to £6 incl. delivery.

Having to put £6 on the credit card to get two Limited Edition sets feels crazy!

I don't think I've watched any Chabrol before, and generally not watched much French cinema. This is a complete blind buy. I do blind buy quite a lot, but normally films I think I will appreciate based on director, genre, critical reception, an actor I like, or comparison to other films I know and enjoy as a benchmark.

No idea what I'm letting myself in for here, don't even know the genre, style, or themes I can be expecting!

Let's hope I enjoy, then again with the HMV discounts I'm picking most my releases up from there, so account credits don't mean too much to me, so pretty good deal all in, not too much risk.
