I'm looking on my tablet at the Destiny app and I think the level was The dark Beyond on the moon as I see I have a few assist kills.. On the far side of the map where you have these doors it goes into a dark area, I remember getting killed pretty quick getting rushed by the thrall

For anyone that can answer, I have a question about the iron banner. I've only played it the one time. After the dlc dropped, did they offer a way to upgrade your weapons/armor to the new defense/attack levels?? Also, the current armor is level 31 correct??

No they don't offer to upgrade to new damage. I tried this with my Jolders Hammer but it only reforges the perks and not the damage. The new armour is level 32

Iron Banner armor can't be re-rolled at all.
Old IB weapons can be re-rolled, but they will still be a max attack of 300. You can't re-roll them to be 331.

The armor on sale the last few Iron Banners is Light Level 36, so it's the new armor to get you to 32. The really nice thing about Iron Banner armor, it uses ascendent shards. So no need for radiant shards from the crota raid.

Breaking down IB armor you will get no ascendent shards.

Thanks for the responses guys!!! Now to decide if I want to blow glimmer on the warlock robes or not. They look awesome. The hammer will be mine no matter what though.

I'm going for the Warlock chest too and probably the Boots.

If I wouldn't have to farm a crap ton of glimmer, I'd do that too. I've already got a full vog and crota raid set, the start if a full iron banner set would be cool to have!!

IB had its ups and downs yesterday. mainly used the red death and thorn, as well as my swordbreaker. made it just past rank 2, tried a few games solo and it was brutal!!

I've been running Red Death or Hawkmoon and then either Longbow Synthesis Sniper or The Crash Shotgun.
Yeah, its not fun solo, especially if your team isn't good

I made it to 900/1200 points on rank 1 last night. Played 7 matches, finished 4 out of 6 bounties. Won 4 matches.

Will hit rank 2 tonight and will buy a shader for the extra boost. I only have the warlock bond and emblem now.

I was mainly using my SUROS last night. Works better in the crucible than it does on the game now.

yeah, i saw several players still using the SUROS. might have to break it out and dust it off.

Crucible is all I use my SUROS in anymore.

I was getting bent over by guys using an iron banner shotgun.

Seems like even the level 20 crucible shotguns dominate as well.

Saw this the other day and thought I would share, as I've always wondered why I'm not getting critical hits on Atheon when I clearly hit him in the stomach-triangle. Well, here's why: his critical spot surrounds the triangle as shown in the picture and video below. Good to know, and explains a lot.

I haven't played much since release. What would be the most I can achieve without the expansions? I did enjoy and play pvp a whole lot.
