I knew the XS30 would work really well for you. Mid and upper bass "slam" factor is often overlooked while we focus on a very narrow range of deep bass frequencies (15-20hz for example). Hi Tom!

Yeah, I'm really happy with the results achieved with the integration of the XS30. I didn't have the chance to measure room response just yet. But, based on what I can hear and feel at my room now.........the result is amazing.

I guess, as we discussed prior to place my order on the XS30, there are few important elements to keep in mind that helped to achieve the end results that I'm enjoying at my system (please correct me if I'm wrong.......):

• Integration of very powerful subwoofers.
• Level match Ultras (at the MLP) "prior" running Audyssey.
• Both are using the 16Hz tune.
• Equidistant location of the Ultras at the front stage related with the MLP.
• Hence, Audyssey XT32 has no issue to recognize and calibrate them as a single subwoofer (keep in mind I'm using a Y splitter at my Denon's SW1 output for these two subwoofers).
• XS30 is hooked to the receiver using the SW2 output.
• I'm adjusting levels at the subwoofers' amps to match Audyssey's first reading levels (75 dB).
• Distance was calculated by Audyssey (two subs at the front and one at the back).
• XS30 has been placed at a near field location - so the output required is not the same as the Ultras. In other words, the XS30's amp doesn't need to put much effort due to its proximity to the MLP.
• XS30 has been individually measured and calibrated by Audyssey XT32 as the second subwoofer.
• Performance wise, I am taking the very best of each subwoofer.

Bottom line - I think it is the sum all all these parts: Denon 4311CI equipped with Audyssey MultEq XT32, clean/powerful output from the Ultras at the ULF/LF and of course, the accurate and clean bass produced by the XS30 mid/upper bass.

I have no idea, Tom hasn't said anything yet, i was hoping the Triax would ship out by Friday, but i don't think that will happen, Tom has to update us soon.

Figured I would post this in this thread to see if there were any interest. I have for sale 2 Powersound Audio XS15base subwoofer. I would prefer to sell them as a set. They were purchased in January. They have about 4 years 4 months left on the warranty. I am second owner. I purchased them in June. They are really good subwoofers. I would rate them 8 out of 10 on the agon scale. They are really 9s. I have the orginal box and packaging. Free shipping to the lower 48 states. It is not letting me attach pictures. I have placed a like to my for sale post on the emo forum that has pics. Thanks

Looks like PSA is going to have another delay with their Triax series. The good news here is that it might just workout to out advantage. It looks as though we will be getting a better driver than the previously negotiated one with the last vendor. the details are posted on the PSA site.

Time to be creative in making bass with your movies until then.... Maybe some stomping on the ground or some boom noises using your mouth. Maybe a drum. Hope you guys get them asap though, can't wait to hear thoughts on them.

I think I have pictures of most/all the finishes on my phone that I grabbed during assembly on the units. I'll try to attach a couple shots here. First one is a Black Ash XV15 next to a Cordovan XS30 being test fitted with port, amp, etc.

Second one is American Cherry XS30 being assembled.
