Picked up Running Scared today in the dump bin. Been waiting on a price drop on this one for a while. And a digital copy code too

It looked like they refilled the bin with many titles, mostly titles that have been there for a while, and a few new ones.

Made an early morning stop to check the Walmart $7.88 bin for Running Scared after seeing others on this site finding it. No luck after searching and searching. Did see multiple Bruce Almighty's. Will have to try again in the near future for Running Scared. Ended up picking up Defiance (Daniel Craig) which I have always seen in the dump bin & wanted but never picked up.

Not only do the "smart ones" wait on new titles, they shop around in unusual places. I found the recent release comedy "This Is The End" in mint condition in a local pawn shop in a seedy part of town for $5. Most retail places it's running $17-22. Like anything and everything in life, you get out what you put in. Wanna save money? Be patient and do the legwork.

+1, I'm known among my friends as the deal guy. if they want a deal, they ask me where to find it

... I haunt pawn shops like a murdered soul... relentlessly..actually going to hit up a few on my way to run some errands in about half an hour

I agree. Not only are they usually in less desirable areas of "town" where I normally don't go, but the few times I've gone into them out of curiosity their movie prices were quite unimpressive. Obi-Wan did not teach them well. I never have bought a single thing from a pawn shop (nor sold anything to one). I only know about them from the movies.

I'm sure there are some awesome movie deals at certain pawn shops, but I don't know where those ones are in my area.
