Arcane & Bloodtinge Defense has me clueless. It has to be the attire you are wearing to increase defence because insight & level mean jack. I get slaughtered anytime the bell rings & I fight any Blood enemy. In the story & dungeons.

The patch should hopefully fix the performance issues in the first dungeon. Those giant things that drop Arcane Haze made everything in the game move in super slo-mo.

I wonder what they mean by "certain" loading times in the update. That's kinda vague.

I never left the game/console on for 12 hours to get the memory loss so getting rid of it doesn't bother me.

Probably gonna work on farming more materials for a couple dungeons. Have a feeling there is probably good loot in Ptyhmuerwimdjhhduenduusn Root Chalice.

Frankly with Spencer it's hard to know if it's a class act, or just an act.

He has been behaving like he wasn't part of the Xbox management before and around launch time since he was promoted to be the head of Xbox.

But he sure is a lot better for PR and feedback to fans than Mattrick ever was, that's for sure.

the game got insane after Rom! I mean I can deal with the fact that the wet nurse's attacks take most of my health, but how am I supposed to kill her if my attacks hardly do anything.. even spamming on her back for like 30 seconds take so little

I think I need to take a break..

I'm starting to think that this is the problem, maybe the enemies level up once I exceed a certain level/stat, because the sudden difficulty spike just doesn't make sense

the game started as very hard, but few hours in, I was able to clean every area I go to, multiple times with no problems, defeated many bosses from the first, sometimes second tries

but now I'm having trouble killing the regular mobs, I haven't explored any area after the defeating Rom, because I'm just running to go to the next area alive

I'd take a break to calm down & then farm more blood echoes. Wet Nurse is not an easy boss. She attacks from the front of her & from behind. Her next stage will lay the woop ass on ya if you can't take 2 hits & survive. Vitaliy seems to be the one level that people increase more then others to get them to learn more from bosses. I'd agree with this, but also need strength.

If you're having trouble, try going to the other areas. The castle for example.

Beat the Wet Nurse on my first try but am having a hell of a time trying to kill the Cainhurst castle guy and the daughter boss.

I can barely make it past the first staircase part in the unseen village. what a pain in the butt. and when I do make it through there I just got hit with some laser beams while trying to dodge 5 guys at once, what the hell!! and no lamp so I have to start again before those steps...

You're already at Wet Nurse after doing Rom?



If memory serves, between Rom (Byrgenwerth) and Wet Nurse (top end of Mergo's Loft, end of Nightmare of Mensis), you should have been doing:

- Unseen Village / Boss: One Reborn
- Unseen Village/ Boss: Dark Beast Paarl
- Cainhurst Castle / Boss: Logarius
- Upper Cathedral / Boss: Celestial Emissary
- Upper Cathedral (Hidden) Boss: Erietas
- Hidden Church Old Workshop
- Nightmare Frontier / Boss: Amygdala
- Lecture Hall 2nd Floor
- Nightmare of Mensis/ Boss: Micolash

And given the (relatively low) difficulty of the first two depths of the Chalices, you should probably do some of that too

It just seems a bit of a jump to talk about Rom and then straight to Wet Nurse

As for the Wet Nurse fight itself, it's about staying behind her and out of range. At times, she goes in staight line for like 5-6 seconds in a row going to town with her swords. For that reason I found it easier to not have her on lockdown to allow more freedom of movement.

During her purple nightmare moments, when she clones herself, the main goal is to survive as it lasts for about 1 minute (although it is possible to hit her during that time), so I kept running and jumping. It did seem that the second time she did this it was a lot worse (the clones being more numerous and agressive), so ideally you would kill her before she does it again.

Some cynical people might even see the "New IP is Hard" part as a slight towards The Order 1886, but I don't think so personally.
