A bore, it tried to be funny but never was. Bela Lugosi was decent enough and Patsy Kelly stole the show, but outside of that it was kind of mediocre.

Second best film in the series behind the original, it's a fun slasher film. I have to say, I think I'm a fan of Erica Leerhsen. I've only ever seen her in three films (this, the Texas Chainsaw Remake and Blair Witch 2) but she was amazing in all three.

A fun, solid slasher film. It's unfortunate how big of a dip the series took with 3. I may not even watch that one even though I've watched all the others, as it's the worst in the series.

I've never seen this one and was thrilled to get this on KINO (with the new corrected version sans the lip-sync issue)

The novelty of seeing an aging Vincent Price playing a famous horror movie star with murders going on around him (is he the killer or someone else? Is he sane or going mad?) is really fun to watch. Adding good supporting turns from Peter Cushing, Adrienne Corri, and Linda Hayden makes things even more enjoyable. The ending is a bit on the weak side but otherwise this is a solid effort--

Out of the 10 stories. Only maybe about 4 of them had my interest. I liked the first two Sweet Tooth (Dave Parker) and The Night Billy Raise Hell (Darren Lynn Bousman) And the last two The Ransom of Rusty Rex (Ryan Schifrin)and Bad Seed (Neil Marshall) While the others were just stupid or way too over the top goofy. Like the one called Ding Dong. Which is suppose to be something about Hansel and Gretel. Then there is one called Friday the 31st. Which is like a spoof mixture of Friday the 13th and Evil Dead, with a little bit of ET thrown in there. The dumbest segment has to be the one called This Means War. about two people arguing about Halloween decorations out front in their lawns.

It also has some horror movie director cameos in this too.

Now if you're expecting this to be like Trick r' Treat. I would lower your expectations a bit. It was a all right viewing. Don't know how much I would view the whole movie again though. Maybe just certain segments.

I have Dish Network and they dropped AMC right before the last episode of Season 1 all the way through Season 2. I had to wait for the Blu-ray before I watched it. Luckily, the only thing that was spoiled for me was

Surprisingly gory! I was genuinely freaked out once or twice, and the effects were really impressive. The performances left a lot to be desired, but for an indie horror flick, you could do a lot worse.

The Lazarus Effect (First Time Viewing)

My god, was this truly awful. I mean jeez. Chalk up another winner for Blumhouse productions. It goes for so many different cheap jump scares and loud sounds. Which are what Blumhouse movies are known for. It kinda felt like Pet Cemetery. But without the Cemetery part. So many things in this movie were just so groan inducing. Please the ending. Gimme a break! I do find it funny that 4 people from TV shows were all in this.
