The only issue I have with the Diabolik situation is really self-inflicted because of expectations. Like others, I'd been hoping to get this during the holiday week, when I'd have plenty of time to dig into it. Doesn't look like that's happening now, which means I probably won't have a chance to watch it until after Christmas. If this had been any other time of the year, I doubt I'd care as much. Diabolik is still among the best in the business, and the trade-off has been the 5 months of peace-of-mind that I wouldn't have to be scrambling to buy this.

I got lucky today that Deff restocked and picked one up since Amazon UK was taking their sweet time in shipping it. Deff said delivery is expected this Friday which is worth the extra $20

Well, I finally got my copy from Amazon UK. Three days "Out for delivery" and it looks like UPS kicked it around for all 3 of them. All corners are mushed and theres some pretty bad creases on it. So hooray, replacement time
Luckily I never cancelled my Zavvi order so that oughta be here soon.

Got mine today from Zavvi. I live in east Texas and it was shipped on 11/13.
Box was fine; absolutely no complaints.
So, yeah...I got this, man.

My Diabolik order arrived in pristine condition today, now its time to watch the Theatrical Cut.

Looks like there are some good Amazon UK packers after all. Crumpled paper on one end of the box-set and crumpled paper on top of the box-set prevented it from moving around during shipping. DHL didn't damage the outer box so mine arrived in mint condition. Hope some of you guys get it the same way.

No. While the Cannes cut does use library music in many scenes that were changed to Goblin music in the final theatrical cut (most notably in the opening 20-minutes or so, and much of the motorcycle gang attack on the mall), there is still a lot of Goblin music present in the Cannes mix, as well.

I ordered 2 from zavvi in case one got damaged... I got one of them today and it was shipped priority airmail in a sturdy box with bubble wrap... the bubble wrap loosened up a bit since it wasn't taped but it was in perfect shape... just in case anyone was thinking about ordering from zavvi and wondering how they are packing them

Mine arrived in Houston 2 days ago. Tracking shows it made it to 25 minutes away from me yesterday. Then Houston popped back up. Now it says *Delayed Delivery Because Of Emergency Situation or Severe Weath* and it ain't the weather.
It's ALWAYS Texas or Florida that effs up $h!t.

And man, what I saw of the transfer was BEAUTIFUL! Can't wait to watch it in full this weekend.

Same here, ordered June 2 and no movement. It's absurd that they're shipping orders that were placed later first.

I'm just going to order from diabolik when titles are in stock from here on out. No more pre-orders of big titles from them.
