It's ironic since Shout slips had been getting crushed by shrinkwrap, now they go no shrinkwrap on this, and every copy was crushed 10X worse than anything I've seen shrinkwrap ever do.
How much is it?

Yeah, my local Best Buy had it last week at that price and the slips were perfect. I grabbed it just to be sure to get a good one.

I agree with 70s/80s but even 90s had wonderful toys (Batman TAS)

I just laugh when looking at the comically deformed action figures of the time. I guess molding technology was not there yet, or something. I grew up in the end of the 80s/early-mid 90s, where we got some good ones, but a lot of them were given hulking muscles. Ex, those Star Wars: Power of the Force things - their first Luke figure especially looks hilarious with giant pecs and open shirt. But, compare the likes of the classic Shogun godzilla figure from the 70s with the exploding fist to any of those trendmasters ones from the 90s to anything today, and it seems like a clear improvement!

I would think the only good thing about the toys of the 70s vs later eras were that they had toys that were later outlawed for being too dangerous (aka fun)! But, of course, I'm way too young to know much about them. What was so great about the toys of the 70s?

How reliable is Diabolik with international orders? My copy shipped 16 days ago but there hasn't been any tracking movement for over a week now.
This is my first Diabolik order.

Has it gone past the expected day of delivery?

I remember seeing this (maybe on a TV presentation), but haven't been able to find it (or any mention of it) anywhere. Maybe I just don't know how (or where) to look.

USPS site doesn't list an expected day of delivery.

Diabolik DVD are extremely reliable but it would help to know what the most recent tracking info says when you enter the number on the USPS website. Does it say that the shipping label has been created and the post office is still waiting to receive the parcel, or does it have actual shipping updates that indicate it's somewhere "in the system"? If that's the case, there's not much Diabolik can do once it's left their hands.

Keep in mind that some parcels are getting stuck along the way due to COVID restrictions so sometimes they sit for a while before getting scanned.

Also, what country do you live in?

I actually do remember that line and it is in the script!

JOKERrecovering) Those toys! Where does he get those wonderful toys?
(to the Goons)
Well don't just stand there!
GO AND ASK HIM!!!!

Not sure why it was cut and perhaps earlier releases of the film on VHS/Laserdisc still have the scene.

The tracking was regularly updated but then it just stops.
I'll give it a couple of more weeks.

Picked this up at Best Buy yesterday. Watched the theatrical cut and really enjoyed it. Many films you watch when younger don’t always hold up years later, but this one does for me. John Barry’s score, the Kong suit, and Jessica Lange. This is a nice collectors edition. Love all the extra stuff on the TV cut (watching now).

Never got a chance to watch KONG in theater. My first viewing was when it was broadcast was on TV. I always remember the scene where the ship crew member is peeking on Lange getting out of the shower.

Last week I picked this up at my local flea market.

Streamed the TV cut over a couple nights with some friends in a Discord server, had the SDH on, and there were a bunch of little mistakes that were obviously somebody transcribing the dialogue by ear. I haven't checked the theatrical cut, but you'd think they could've at least worked from Paramount's existing SDH for the dialogue that was the same.

And what were the details of the last update when it "just stops?" Also, what country do you live in? Some countries, you can enter the tracking number on the website of your local postal service and it'll pick up the tracking from there once it's left the United States. Plus, if you live in some place like Australia, it's very possible it's on a boat and will take some time to get there.

As I already mentioned in my earlier e-mail, there are bottlenecks of shipments throughout the United States due to the pandemic and if you've been supplied with a tracking number then it's obvious that Diabolik have shipped the item to you, so why would you question their reliability?

One of my recent packages spent eight days sitting in Pittsburgh for who knows why, and two others sat in Chicago for ten days.

Calm down. I'm just asking since this is my first experience with the company. I know that others on here are long time customers.

Maybe switch to decaf?

The sacrifice track from the score to this movie is a banger! I just pumped it in my car after watching the commentary last night and learning more about the filming of that sequence. I am so glad they included the chanting, scream and roar.

Aaaaahhhhh - sound tracks. They don't make em like they used to.

Whatever, you were the one clutching your pearls because your shipment hasn't arrived yet, I was just looking for more info from you to help set your mind at ease. Instead of saying thank you, you're acting like a dick about it.
