As a Canadian, Amazon has the most affordable shipping to Canada. Most of the other outlets don’t even offer an option to ship to Canada. Sucks, but when Disney won’t give us a Canadian release, we don’t have many choices.

They’ve been selling Sony titles for a few years now. I got the “sold out” Ghostbusters 4K Firehouse set from them as my first purchase. I’ve gotten real good older catalog 4K from them with sale prices on Sony steelbooks, etc..

I just ordered Monty Python and the Holy Grail last week when everyone else was sold out, after Amazon shipped my preorder, and lost it in a warehouse. Forever.

So you can order with confidence from them, I think all my orders have been shipped in a box!
Everything has been shipped USPS ground, I think from the Alliance warehouse in Kentucky.

Here is my best guess as to what happened with Amazon:

They probably did not keep track of the expected quantity they were going to receive, left the pre-orders up for way too long, oversold big time, realized that they should not be taking any more pre-orders, and then took down the page.



Perhaps there was a problem where they could not update the page to "Unavailable" and stop taking pre-orders even once they exceeded the limit, so rather than fixing that, they just took down the page entirely.

This is just my speculation, though. I honestly have no idea what is actually going on.

From all info I could find it's owned by Culver Digital Distribution, Inc., which is a Sony Entertainment company.
