I suggest finding the nearest FedEX Office (Kinko's) and taking the files there on a thumb drive and having them print high quality color copies. Standard Blu-ray covers will fit a 8 1/2 x 11 sheet. Tell them to print "actual size", no scaling. If they quiz you about copyright, just tell them you made them yourself using freely available images. Maybe I'll try Staples if I can make it out there. There are no Kinkos within 1.5 hours of here and the pinter at work is a piece of garbage. |

Here's my attempt to replicate the Fantastic Mr. Fox digipak artwork for the Criterion clear case (3240x1900 pixels). It's based on my 600 dpi scan of the FMF slipcase and back cover attachment, reworked to eliminate all references to DVD and associated specifications. The darker tones in the upper portion of the spine will probably jump out at you, but this is inherent in the Criterion cover art. The inside cover has 50 pixels added in both dimensions to allow for printer offset. (See PRINTING NOTES below.)
PM me with your e-mail address to receive both the cover and the inside art. [Note: The previews that I uploaded are both 1280 pixels in width. Can anyone tell me how to make them display at the same size?] FMF FINAL preview.jpg FMF Inside Art FINAL preview.jpg PRINTING NOTES: I neglected to mention when I posted my Foreign Correspondent cover (https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...nt#post8969179) that the inside art will probably not print correctly on 8.5x11" paper (the artwork is 10.97" in width). For some time now I've been using A4 paper for covers wider than 3240 pixels. Legal paper would also work fine. I go to OfficeMax and use the self-service Xerox WorkCentre 7535 laser printer (machine type probably varies by store), which produces fabulous prints at 49 cents per page. The A4 laser paper I use is available here: http://www.graytex.com/a4-papers.htm (Item No. 295-A4). It's a bit pricey, but I consider the results to be worth the cost. It's so cool you're doing all the Disney animated classics - and multiple times! I'm totally digging the simplified newer versions. In general I think the most successful ones don't wrap their images around the spine to the back. A row of those solid-colored spines would be stunning. Looking forward to seeing the series competed. |

Who can I go with requests? I would try this myself but the pc with a decent program to do covers caught a virus and now runs ridiculously slow
![]() Anyways, I am in search of some custom cover art if someone can help me ![]() I am in need of both the hunger games movies. Nothing to complicated (I think) I want both the target exclusives as covers, the original digipack and Catching Fire digibook. Think of it as a scan lol same back and cover, the only modification I personally would do is add a 4th disc to the first movie, which would be the dvd copy. If anyone can help me out with is or maybe point to some programs, preferably free, let me know. ![]() Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2 |

Check out this thread about replacement Blu-Ray cases. There are links to many online stores that carry replacement cases, and they have both DVD and Blu-Ray cases of various types and sizes. https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=80758 I've never uploaded them anywhere, but I actually made covers for a TMNT classic complete series box set. A couple/few years ago I bought a bunch of 12 disc DVD cases because I was transferring a bunch of old family home videos to DVD-R discs and making copies for several family members as a Christmas gift. At the time the site that I bought them from was clearing them out in bulk, so thry were cheap and I had some extras. There is 23 discs total between all of the classic TMNT DVD sets, so it worked out that I only needed two of these cases. I even swapped out one of the 2-disc "flaps" in the first case with a 1-disc "flap" from one of the individual season so that I didn't have an extra empty disc hub. The first box is Season 1-4, and the second box is Season 5-10. I did this because the various random, inconsistent packaging of the various separate releases was driving me nuts (I REALLY hate the Season 5 pizza box packaging), plus I wanted it all to take up less room on the shelf. Rather than trying to make the back of the boxes look "official" with bar codes, credits, etc., I just listed all of the episodes on the back. I've been meaning to update these slightly and upload them (probably on Euphoric FX) for people to download. There are a couple of typos on the back that I didn't notice until after I printed them. I'm also planning to make a couple of slight variations of these text-wise depending on what discs people have. There will be 3 versions of the first box and two of the second. For the individual releases, they originally did "Volumes" 1-6. *Volume 1 is Season 1, *Volume 2 is Season, 2, *Volumes 3-6 are Season 3 (plus the first episode of Season 4 for some reason). Then they shifted to season sets starting with Season 4 (starting with that same episode that's on Volume 6). In my original covers picture below, the text on the back reflects the Volume and Season sets since that is what I have. So it's volumes 1-6 (with the season numbers under that), and then it goes to the season sets (i.e. Season 4 disc 1, Season 4 disc 2, etc.). More recently, they actually released a Season 3 set. It is literally the exact same discs as volumes 3-6, just with new cover art and the labeling on the discs being Season 3 disc 1, Season 3 disc 2, etc. But when you pop the discs in your player, they still reflect the volume numbers on the menu. As silly of a reason as it is, I bought the Season 3 set just to have it more consistent. I can deal with still have "Volumes" 1 and 2 since they just directly translate to Season 1 and 2. So my plan is to make an alternate back cover for the Season 1-4 set to reflect this version. Then I also want to make a slight variation for anyone who has the complete series set that came in that Turtle Van packaging. Similar to the how the volumes 3-6 discs were reused and relabeled for the Season 3 set, the complete box set is literally all of the exact same discs from the separate releases with new labeling. Each disc reflects it's Season number, but rather than it going from, for example, "Season 3, Disc 4" to "Season 4, Disc 1," instead the discs are collectively numbered 1 through 23. So for anyone who wants to put their discs in packaging that offers more protection than that van box, this will be a good option. Anyway, here are pics below that I already have available online of what I made. These are actual photos of the covers printed up and inserted into the cases. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() They aren't really anything "fancy," but they do the job. ![]() It's funny because I made these before they released that aforementioned "Season 3" set. The front cover images are artwork used from a couple of the old VHS releases (though I recolored Shredder's mask over his mouth in Photoshop because it was purple). Then when they released the Season 3 set, they actually used a modified/updated version of the same artwork that I used for my Season 1-4 case: ![]() Last edited by Dynamo of Eternia; 04-05-2014 at 02:37 PM. |

How big is the official Season 3 set size wise? I never knew they released that! Maybe they re-released Season 4 in better packaging too?
Great work on the boxset art of the classic series BTW! ![]() |
