Wow got so lucky!! Dark knight trilogy is on sale $79.99 in store and Dunkirk more at $32.99 And the only other was Interstellar which was $28.99

Dark knight trilogy isn't even showing in the search on amazon anymore but the link here worked and they were very busy at this location so he just glanced at it and matched the $49.99!!! Amazing... And matched Dunkirk to $29.96 And out

It will be the same price at EB Games as well.

Right now the only PS4s stores are selling are the Slim and the PS4 Pro. I don't think they are selling the old original PS4 anymore. The Slim is smaller, uses less power, and also has 5GHz wi-fi over the original PS4.

If you want 4K gaming though you have to get the Pro. Note that no PS4s can play 4K blu-rays though (whereas the Xbox One S and the X can play them).

Personally I prefer the PS4. They have better exclusives plus they seem to have more digital sales on games than the Xbox. The only reason I owned an Xbox One was to play the Forza games (which to be fair are the best racing games on the market).

I took another look at that too when rabbit posted it. Actually, IMO, it's not too bad a deal, mainly because it comes with the game. Otherwise, $300 is what they've been going for quite regularly now.

I have an original PS4. A few weeks ago I got a PS4 Pro with the Uncharted/Lost Legacy DL (usually $40-50 on disc IIRC) for $400 from BB. That's the regular "sale" price for these now, but usually no game. So what I'm saying is BB gives you a game which is really the "deal" part, if you want to play that game...for U/LL, I did.

I really wanted to get an XBox One X because it plays UHDs and I like the technical design, but the fact is I prefer more of the PS4 games, plus the VR ones...no reason you can't have both systems, but I prefer more of the PS4 games and some are exclusive (for now).

Sony hates cross-platform play, anything that doesn't put $$ in their pocket by distracting you, they'll come up with some excuse/method to prevent it, that's just what Sony does. So you have to know that, with anything Sony you buy, they have no compunction about removing functionality by a "forced" firmware update or such if it suits their purposes. And of course, Microsoft is your friend, they would never do anything "questionable", so you're always totally safe going with them.

Also re the PS4 controllers: that's what they've been going for every few weeks, ~$50, that's what I paid for an extra one the other week at BB when I got the Pro. Was at EBG yesterday, $75 there, ~$60 at WM. The only other PS4 controller I had before that was an original one, and see previous paragraph about Sony removing functionality as this original PS4 controller doesn't work with a lot of Sony stuff, whereas the current ones do.

Sorry should have been more specific. PS4 Pro does 4K gaming and 4K video. It doesn't play UHDs though.

Considering the Battlefield II is on disc (I think I can just barely see that in the ad), it'll have some value when you're done with it, as opposed to the "free" game being a DL (like it was for me). Yeah, it's strictly a BD drive on the PS4s.

[Now that I look around, that $400 for the Pro was a decent price I guess. I was remembering EBG had a PS4 trade-in for a Pro a few months ago and I heard (I wasn't around) it was plus $180 or $200 cash, pretty cheap anyway. That was a great deal, I'd have been all over that with my "fat" PS4. So in that context, $400 for a Pro didn't seem like that great a deal, and it's what everybody had, but I think only BB gave you the game so that was the sweetener for them.]

FWIW, the PS4 Pro is a much superior machine to the plain PS4, technically speaking. But will you notice the diff when gaming? Probably, and likely, not. Depends what you play. Sony requires all games to work well with both types of machine. I'm a cheapskate and I thought it was worth it. There will supposedly be more games that are enhanced for the Pro. I think I can see a small diff in VR between them sometimes, but it's really hard to say and trying to compare is just so tedious. But the more powerful machine won't be worse...
