If one is in the area of them or have other things they want than sure, but I have a hard time seeing anyone justifying saving $2 for a special trip let alone the $20 in shipping they demand at which point $2 for shipping is very cheap. I have canceled my Amazon backorder (claiming cheaper elsewhere), so maybe the price will drop further in the near future, one can hope.

Yeah, that's what I did. My closest Sunrise is about 20 minutes away whereas I just walked to my local Walmart and picked up a copy of Beetlejuice for $15. Figured the $2 is worth the savings in time and gas lol

Sunrise isn't the most convenient to get to, for me, but neither is Walmart. I've noticed Amazon has randomly had some of the same GRUV (WB, Universal) titles that Walmart has also offered for $15. I'm not so interested in Beetlejuice or Joker, but am hoping Casablanca or Scott Pilgrim are offered at some point. In part because I haven't found them during my London Drugs 50 percent off safari and also because those titles tend to be pricier than the likes of Apollo 13 or The Big Lebowski.

Hi everybody!
After years of collecting DVD movies I've decided it's time to start upgrading my collection to Blu Ray format.
I've just purchased my first few Blu Ray movies from Amazon and I'm negatively surprised about the cover print resolution quality. It's seems so blurry that I've started thinking it may be a bootleg...
Or is it common for Blu Ray movies to have covers printed in such blurry quality? It seems worst in comparison to DVD, or am I too sensitive?

I will appreciate your feedback!

It could a library copy. Did you buy from Amazon market place? The third party seller will explicitly say in the conditions the cover or package may not be the original cover. The disc should be fine.

Also, Amazon Warehouse may use nonoriginal packaging.

Thank you for your answer. It was not a market place. I compared the box to unboxing videos available on youtube and I don't see any significant differences, but the characters visible on the covers are quite blurry... Maybe it's just a Blu Ray standard?

Standard blu-ray cover for a catalogue title. Studios took more care with packaging of DVDs. Bigger case allowed for better artwork and for most consumers owning a movie on DVD was a novelty. Studios spent more on the packaging to get consumers to buy into the new format. Blu-ray was less novel and less about packaging. More about the PQ upgrade.
