Don't they always come with shrink wrap on them until you take it off?

I got the steelbook version yesterday. I watched the 3d version. I had only seen the 2d version in the theatre. I did have trouble getting the uv on vudu to work. it took a while before it showed up. I watched the 2d version on vudu this morning. I agree that the 3d was weak in alot of area. there were only certain scenes where the 3d really worked. I think the 2d version was much better.

I had only seen the movie once in the theatre. i enjoyed it very much. I enjoyed it more when I saw it again. I caught up on more of the connections this time around. while I was not thrilled about a reboot. I had very low expectations on it. I was surprised that I liked it very much even more so then the original 3 films from raimi.

about the PQ on the blu ray. it seem brighter on the blu ray then the theatre version. it could be some settings on the tv. I use thx on my receiver and tv. the HDTV is a plasma. everything looks great through it.

Went with the BBY Steelbook myself. Just watched the 3D disc last night and it ROCKS! On a side note, I got a couple of extra rewards and uv codes. If anyone wants em, PM me.

EDIT: GONE

Are you looking in the right spot? There were quite a few prominent deleted scenes.

Went to Best Buy in San Francisco yesterday. I saw 2 steelbook left, but I didn't like the case so I passed on it. There were about 30 3D version and only 5 2D version left on the shelf. Since I was going to get the 3D version, more choice for me.

You didn't read back far enough....also "pertinent" is a matter of opinion. Again, nice try!
Stick to Dolby Atmos. The 2 people that have it properly set up in their HT will be thrilled to hear about bit rates.
