I'm actually surprised too because I spent quite a lot of time in the beta and could tell even in Old Russia there were plenty of areas that weren't opened up yet. I'll be sinking plenty of time into this game, even before the expansions are released.
People pretty much missed that point that a lot of areas and vaults were locked off. Off the top of my head, at least 5+ areas. Doors and high level enemies mainly did that. I think Bungie will hopefully be more upbeat when people see the final game and read reviews.

Heck, if you can spend 100+ hours in an Alpha and Beta whilst restricted to level 8 and locked areas with less than half of the games worlds etc. available, then the final game should easily tap into 200+ hours.

Man, i'm still so hyped. People said Bungie etc. hyped it, but I think that's wrong because in reality, people were the ones who spread the word of mouth like fire and increased the hype during and after both the Alpha and Beta. Say compared to.the hype fail of GTA IV which predominantly was from.media and a let down. GTA V lived up to.expectations I suppose sans heists online and the launch mess up.for online.

I'm still.super pumped but i'm beginning to.try and temper my expectations so I can enjoy the game.

Yep

Almost pulled the trigger for Second Son (love Infamous), almost again right before E3 but then they announced the Destiny bundle hehe.

Just received my 1Tb SSHD today, ready for the swap

Yeah I found a few areas like that too, so there's clearly way more to each area they gave us in the beta. And if each planet is like that then I can see plenty of time being spent on this.

PS4 and Destiny Bundle (Black) is only £329 on Amazon UK. Can't believe how cheap it's getting already!

Unboxing of the (White) PS4 Destiny Bundle.

Very tiny beef with the White DS4: I think they should have used the black back instead of pale grey, but both the PS4 and DS4 are otherwsie very sexy

I was surprised at the criticism too, it is like many people didn't realize it was a beta not the full on retail build (demo). I thought there was plenty of area left unopened/unexplored, and that was just one planet. Now I was surprised you only got one location on Earth specifically, but I never felt like I'd be thinking there wasn't enough places to go and explore.

I think you would have been slightly disappointed with Infamous:SS. It was a pretty looking game a pretty city, but that was really all it had going for it if you ask me. Still was fun, but just not a killer exclusive like I had hoped it would be.

Indeed, with over 60 hours just in the beta, I have no fear of running out of places to see or things to do

Only beef I had with the size was that some places like tops of plateaus causes 10 second timer and then you die because you were "off the map".

At what time do you guys usually play? I'm generally on at around 10 p.m IST which is approx 8:30 a.m PST. Is the fire team limited to 3 players or 6?

I want a white ps4!! I did get a custom painted white dualshock back at launch but it has since chipped a bit since the kids just destroy things.

But I do agree that the black back does look better. Guess you could always take a back from a different controller and combine the two that way.
