Rick
Yes, you will receive the 5-disc version.
It's my understanding that DD was just the venue for the signing which was put on by 1428 Films, for this release. Kind of a fan appreciation thing, and to help advertise it.

When did you place your order from the CLM website?

Lol see this is why many of us are disappointed and confused to their logic in shipments. Many of us ordered on July 8th, two months prior to many last minute orders and we are still waiting for shipments haha. Doesn't make sense. Thanks for sharing your order date, helps to attempt trying figure this insanity out ;-P

Haha. "We waited until Sunday to explain any sort of shipping strategy to buyers for something advertised as available on Friday the 13th...we don't understand why people are demanding answers."

I've only finished the first disc and it's the same style and quality as NEVER SLEEP AGAIN. It starts with a newly created sequence of a group of people at a campfire and Corey Feldman telling them a tale - he also narrates the documentary. Each chapter is devoted to one film (part 1 gets about 45 minutes) and pretty much everything is covered. As a more casual fan of the later sequels than many fans here, I didn't have as much interest in the minutiae of some of the information regarding certain scenes and secondary actors and whatnot. Still, it's put together so well that you can't help but get swept into it, and super-fans will surely LOVE this thing. They have cleared tons of clips, too, and not just for the Friday films, but clips from movies like LHOTL and others from all different studios. The first disc goes through Part 6 and the last chapter is for the TV series, which I assumed they would cover and glad they did. 3:50 on disc 1. Disc 2 is about 2:50 and starts with Part 7.

Apparently The Travel Channel were in Blairstown, NJ on Friday to film an episode of their new series It Was Filmed Here, and they filmed fans at the sold out midnight screening of Friday the 13th. A fan reported that the film crew were not allowed into the boy scout camp, who were giving tours that day!! I hope that's not true and they got to film the camp.

You are undeserving of that bonus disc. Why you should get it while hardcore fans may not...is a farce.

Thumbs down

I'm very disappointed that they didn't advertise that the bonus disc was INCLUDED with the DD signing or I would have went that route. Also, still no shipping notice & I'm starting to get annoyed/pissed at that. I won't even have it by Friday it seems.... lol

I just double-checked the email, and:

A package was shipped to you on 09/16/2013 via U.S. Postal Service Priority
How can an item technically be shipped and have a shipping number when it hasn't actually shipped yet?

They print the shipping label, I come across the same process on some eBay packages.

Thanks Lee! That's what I figured, but with the talk of some ordering from DD and some from CLM I was starting to get a little confused. I pre-ordered the signed copy as soon as it went live, so I would assume that I should receive all discs.

Yeah, as Matt said, it's just when the label is printed. Everything else is all automated. So this won't even be picked up until tomorrow, which is fine, as it will give me a chance to watch some F13 movies before this Doc arrives.

Weird, got a 'Your order has been delayed' email from Barnes & Noble yesterday, and now I just got a 'Your order has shipped'. Wonder if it will come with the bonus disc as advertised.

Unless you ordered this from DD or the CLM site itself then you will not get the bonus disc. The 5th disc was only exclusive to direct orders through the team itself on CLM or through the advertised signing event at DD. So Amazon orders, or Barnes and Noble, Best Buy etc. are only the standard 4 disc edition.
