The way the All-Access Pass special feature is set up on the Blu makes me wonder if the filmmakers were originally planning to have a Maximum Movie Mode (similar to some Warner films) but either abandoned the idea or are still prepping it for a potential UHD release in the future.

Been a while since I've seen bonus features that are so "OMG THIS PERSON IS AMAZING" or "OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE WE WERE ABLE TO DO THIS!" Glad I got the most complete package but so far these featurettes are pretty lame.

I had never really heard of Amazon Premiere Packs prior to the listing for "Jurassic Park/World" combo back in June. This pack included a movie ticket voucher to see "Jurassic World" in theaters, plus a digital HD copy of "Jurassic Park", and the 2D bluray of "Jurassic World" upon its home video release. Well today's the day and I noticed I never received a shipping confirmation (usually receive them on Sunday and item arrives Tuesday.) After talking to a rep and others who purchased the Premiere Pack, looks like those of us who did will not be receiving our bluray copies at all anytime soon. They didn't really make sense in explaining what the problem is. But it is very odd that I can just go buy a copy now online and it will ship to me and arrive by Thursday. Anyone else get shafted on this deal? Really a shame because it was such an amazing deal when I first saw it advertised. And they marketed the hell out of this deal too. A lot of people be getting home from work today and not be too happy lol.

Agreed. I wish we could get behind the scenes stuff like in LOTR/Hobbit Extended Editions, but I think those are a thing of the past now.

I agree. Very nice looking tin, why they just didn't go with a regular steelbook, is confusing. The same was done with Total Recall many years ago. The cheap cardboard package, doesn't even keep it stabile, unless you lean it like a picture frame.

They should've included a stand, like the Man of Steel Collectors Edition.

There is a pop out "stand" on the back of the cardboard "holder" for the Jurassic tins. Total Recall didn't have this.

That's how it usually goes with recent films, especially big ones like this. I agree it doesn't make for the most fun and interesting featurettes/documentaries.

No they haven't refunded anything and haven't found anyone else who purchased the premiere pack get a refund either. The reason is they say because we utilized the download of "Jurassic Park" and the free pass to see "Jurassic World" in theaters. I'm like yeah that was the perk of the premiere pack in the first place was securing the bluray when it released today lol. I just don't see why they can't just manually ship a copy of JW bluray to us who went in on the pack deal back in June. Something seems off, it's not like this was a limited edition we were getting and the production stalled or they ran out of them. I know somehow it will all work out but this is just poor business. I mean you're talking about 5 months ago this deal was offered and paid for and yet now the day of release there's a problem? Lmao

That doesn't make any sense. Walmart's presells do not have this issue: Buy at Walmart, redeem at Vudu, Vudu sends customer info to Walmart.com, Walmart.com sends out the product. Done.

With Amazon it's just one company: Buy at Amazon, get DC & ticket code instantly, then ship order. There isn't any fowarding of info or having to use a seperate site for the digital copy.
