Well yeah, no one expected Terminator Salvation to make anything like the Potter films do. The potter films could cost $500 million to produce and they would probably still be profitable.

$365-$375 mil when it closes then

Terminator 3 brought in just under $9 million from Mexico.

So, is the tv rights cost based on a percentage of the domestic take or the total?

Domestic. If we don't hear any rumblings of a sequel by the time the blu has been out for a month, then a direct sequel probably won't happen.

That's what I was thinking, word on the sequel would happen by the end of the year if its going to happen

If we don't get a movie or two to finish up the timeline, there better at least be some books or something

Seems like the movie should be successful enough for a lower budget sequel. It didn't light up the BO in the states, but did very well overseas for a franchise movie without its main star, Arnold in this case.

I'm really hoping for a director's cut BD.

I've always wanted the ligaments of a robot, plus I was tired of just regular flesh and bone.
