Nah, I mean situations where there's no option but an escalator and in this scenario it's college students, generally people I assume to be younger than me.

Yes, that's a major one. And one I typically don't make. I'm not sure what happened there. Just late, I guess.
On the subject of education, I didn't have much of any prior to college. I got my GED in my early 20s and made it into a Bio-tech program, ahead of a long line, due to scoring in the 97th percentile in science. Generally though, I'm self taught in most of what I know.
And I no longer pass out on front lawns.

Wondering why people continue to ship fragile items in a simple bubble mailer? There's little to no protection. Just got an eBay win in the mail, and because the DVD case was an eco-type case, it looks like someone grabbed the package a little too hard and managed to slightly puncture the cover of this new/still sealed OOP DVD. But the rest of the product is in tip-top shape despite some shrinkwrap residue on the spine after it was removed....will probably swap out the case. Now I have something else to watch this weekend.

Same here-ish, getting that back deck external door replaced, but it's not as bad a a new HVAC unit (did that 2 years ago).

I still don't know why people insist on turning on the air and a fan when it's 70. 70 is warm but at that temperature having both on makes it colder than it needs to be.
