I've accepted the fact that I'm never going to get a Hunger. I think during the next normal Crota runs, I'll leave my GHorns in the vault. Maybe then the "smart loot" system will give me one.

I believe it's smart... but not at all in a good way. ever since I got the pocket infinity bounty, I have gotten two blue or better fusion rifles. It knows what we need/want. hopefully SkyNet isn't live.

I'd say definitely House of Wolves, and I'd hope the trials is included, sounds like they will elaborate on the new social space in the Reef too, I wonder what new vendors or factions we'll get in there.

Can someone explain the exotic upgrades to me? I have the Mida and the final upgrade is unlocked. Can I just break down one of the extra exotic Warlock helmets I have to get a shard or do I have to go to Xur to do it. He has an upgrade for the Mida this week but it is a shard and a bunch of glimmer, etc. I'm not sure which way I'm supposed to do it.

I tried googling it but all I get is a bunch of articles about how the upgrades changed when the DLC came out. None of them really explain the proper way to upgrade if you got the weapon post DLC.

For the final upgrade, you can buy the Green shard from Erris or break down another exotic weapon and get a Green shard.

The upgrade option at xur is to upgrade the old 300 attack versions of weapons.

if you have the old MIDA that maxed out at 300 Attack you can equip it on your character .... bring it to Xur and for the cost of "x" glimmer and 1 Exotic shard (which you can obtain by breaking down other exotic weapons you don't want or purchase from Xur) he will take your 300 Attack MIDA and re-Xurbish it into a 331 max Attack version

keep in mind any XP you put into the old weapon will be completely reset
meaning you will have to level the item up from the very beginning (and the final slot for leveling the new one will use 1 exotic shard, which the old version did not take to fill in the last circle)

You need an exotic shard to fill-in the last circle of an exotic weapon/armor piece. You can get this shard from either Xur or from breaking down an exotic piece (weapon or armor). DO NOT buy the exotic upgrades from Xur unless you have an old (pre-DLC) exotic piece, as that is what these are meant to upgrade.

For those scrubs amongst us with very few decent weapons, i.e. me, is the Dragon's Breath worth buying? I have Hezen Vengeance and the One WaY Ticket 000 as the current rocket launchers on my two characters. Would it be any upgrade at all over those two?
