Id recommend you check over the discs in the DVD set, there have been reports of alot of these with one or more damaged discs. I only had one episode on one disc that didnt play, and purchased a replacement from an ebay seller who specialize in tv-series disc replacements, see there are a few still operating.

Thanks for your advice. Did check the discs (just see them physically, not playing), about 40% discs have scratches but they are all minor. So far did not notice any major scratches like some had complained. Nevertheless, really have to test them out to verify if they are playable. But I am glad with the condition in general.

The one faulty disc in my set did not have any visible damages as far as I can remember, only way to make sure is to watch every disc/episode, which is a blast btw

Had managed to not watch more than bits and pieces of max 10-15 episodes before starting the set. Its an amazing series for sure.

That's an awesome haul bud! I've picked up all of those, minus the SG1 set recently. I need to sit my butt down and start Watching Atlantis again. I've only watched a few episodes over the years, but enjoyed each and every one of them.

Reviews for SG-1 are very good. If you don't mind DVD picture quality, you should give it a try.
