Does anyone know whether there will be separate blu ray boxes for each Dark Knight movie or are all discs in one box like the Indiana Jones and Bond 50 blu ray set?

Bill Hunt posted this on 10/4 over at the Digital Bits:

"The Dark Knight Trilogy: Ultimate Collector’s Edition Blu-ray box set (Q3) which includes all three films plus exclusive collectables and nearly an hour of all new material."

It's posted near the middle of Page 2:

http://www.digitalbits.com/columns/m...ts/100412_0100

If his info turns out to be correct, it sounds like just some "swag" and less than an hour of new material.

Thanks, but I still think it makes sense to update the first post of this thread as it's the one most people check for updates on the title.

I kinda agree with you there. It would help to know which US versions are available to purchase.

Because now that the trilogy is down to $29.99 and the TDKR is $24.99 it would seem pretty stupid to not pay 5 dollars just to get the 2 extra films even if you already have them.
Knowing Warner, it will probably be slim case Blu-rays in a cardboard box. It's listed as a 5 disc set, so it probably includes special features for the latter films.

EDIT:

I stand corrected. Just checked WB shop. Outstanding!

Thanks!

Hmmm.... An hour of additional bonus material between the three movies? Yeah, I might just go with the standard trilogy.

I think Warner should include an audio option in which u can hear bane more clearly. A lot of moviegoers complained about so why not make an audio options that's more hearable

They already made Bane sound even clearer(prologue scene, they significantly lowered the background noise and increase his voice to make Bane more audible)
If they tried to make him sound even clearer it just wouldnt seem realistic. I'm sure that WB will include English subtitles, which should do the job.

I wish it would have been worded "never before seen material"...as it would give me the wide eyed little kid's hope of extended cuts....

Here is South Africa, preorders are out for the movie - but it just seems like the usual bluray, and then the DVD... lame! However, one of the online stores has a Trilogy boxset with book listed - anybody know anything about this "book" thats mentioned? I'm thinking its an artbook... but at R590 for the set (just over $70), I'm hoping its something special! I dont have the others on bluray - so it seems like a logical purchase - and we migh not even sniff ther ultimate edition here next year. Also, the batpod version of Dark Knight was available here in DVD only - so I'm waiting to see if the store that initially got it - has anything up its sleeve for the release late next month....

I'm picking up the Limited Edition "Bat Cowl" Edition as I pre-ordered it when the price was $27.99 for a few hours.

Am I correct in thinking that all the bonus features, which should be on the second Blu-ray disc of the basic edition, will not be included in this Bat Cowl edition?
