Any site but the Crystal Lake Memories site WILL NOT contain the bonus disc. This has been posted via the official site.

Was just looking at other F13th stuff on ebay and see a few of these signed copies have sold for $100+ already and a few are still going. Crazy!! I'm glad I pre-ordered. Will this be another ridiculous aftermarket item like TT's Fright Night or Christine?!

Only for those dumb enough to pay that much for the sigs. I mean I can put my signed copy of Christine up with John Carpenters sig and I'm sure some dumb person would pay $100 plus for it.

I got a shipping notification from DD but it's dated 9/16, which is tomorrow. There's a tracking number so it's gotta be legit. I didn't realize there were Post Offices that were open on Sundays, lol.

They aren't. The email is just stating that your package is ready to be picked up on 9/16.

Oh, OK. So they actually gave my package to the postal clerk sometime before 1 P.M. on Saturday, which is when the Post Offices close on weekends, and just delayed sending me an email until Sunday night? Gotcha.

What's with the bonus disc? I could be wrong but it sounds like it is a DVD, and may or may not contain anything of high-interest since it sounds like the bulk of the stuff is on the 4 Blu-ray discs... or am I wrong?

No. As mentioned earlier in the thread, the automated email is sent as soon was the tracking number is activated on their shipping website.
Technically all our packages are sitting at the DD shop awaiting pickup tomorrow.

its an extra 4 hours of interviews...so stuff they felt was important but probably didn't fit well editing wise to the proper doc. plus i imagine at almost 7hrs, they thought it was already long enough. lol

they did the same with the Nightmare doc, the extras disc had 90mins worth of bonus interviews.

I can somewhat relate. I remember the good old days when Kane Hodder, Doug Bradley, and many others at horror conventions would sign several posters, masks, and anything else you had for no fee. Why? Because they were paid by the convention in which they were appearing. Now, you have to pay the high fee, plus $30 per signature or more, which is disgusting.

Say what you will, but is should be the responsibility of the event promoters to pay the talent, and charge one price/fee to the customer.

I recently went to a horror convention and you can't really even approach one of the film stars because of the high price for one autograph. If you try to take a picture of them from a distance, the security swoops in like secret service and tells you that you can't take pictures.

A sad and desperate situation.

It was returned as undeliverable because everybody and their mother has been incredibly impatient and has been hounding them through e-mail to the point where their e-mail inbox is full.

The whole thing reminds me of a news story I heard about a couple weeks ago where there was a cable outage in Connecticut, which resulted in NUMEROUS people calling 911 (not even, you know, the cable company), because they were missing the new episode of Breaking Bad.

It was advertised that the bonus disc would be included with the DD signing. It was precisely due to that that I went that route.

Speaking of which, I apparently got an e-mail from DD from the future today, stating that my copy was shipped out tomorrow. Shouldn't be too much longer.
