Thank god for this thread. Just started playing and trying to get out of Central Yarnham is driving me crazy! Went back a few pages and watched a few videos and it helped.

WOW I SLAYED THE WET NURSE! so happy! now the room in the hunter's dream is on fire, I think I'm close to the final boss (the doll said that "Gerhman awaits me", so I think that's the final boss)

but I'd like to do the optional bosses I missed first

Does the number of insights affect the bosses too, or only the regular enemies

I can't seem to get an "official" word regarding the insights, some say it's bull

At the same point as you. House is burning but I want to beat all the bosses first before I beat the game. Got 2 more to go.

Probably a good indication then by From Software because as you explore deeper in them Dungeons, those same bosses become leveled up & are much more challenging.

It only takes 1 hit from Rom's helpers to delete around 400HP (Same for Rom's Blue crystal crap) & Rom will erase around 800-900HP per hit. Basically, when I first entered & had over 2100HP, I was dead in 10 seconds. The area is much smaller to fight him in too so that didn't help. Story mode Rom is a piece of cake compared to this 3rd Dungeon meeting.

All the best Runes & Gems are in the Dungeons & I'm gonna go for Cursed/Defiled Chalice. I hope it's not big on enemies & there are actual coffins & chests in there.

After Rom, how many mandatory bosses are there? I really just want to hurry up and beat Bloodborne so I can focus on MKX. Also, what lvl should I aim for? I'm currently lvl 61.

Yes it does. Since you gain insight for just looking at a boss.

according to the trophy list, which I haven't looked at until now, I got 4 more:

- Amygdala
- Logarius
- Emissary
- Ebrietas

I'd like to wait for the update which will be out soon this month. But yeah would like to help kick some @ss & it's probably a good idea to have a more complex password Id. I hadn't created one yet.

For the peeps who are that far along (I'm not quite yet), the following Chalice has not only the Uncanny version of Burial Blade (scythe) -and- The Blades of Mercy (if you missed it) before the end of layer 2 (BoM on layer 1, and BB right before he boss on layer 2), but also a Blood Rock! (on layer 3)!

It's a Fetid Lower Loran (so after Ailing Loran and Lower Loran) and the glyph code is: q8t8943a

It is a depth 5, so quite hard, but the guy says that the boss featured are "relatively" easy for the depth involved.

Logarius is so damn easy, stun him when he's about to attack and then do the visceral attack

he's even easier to stagger than the regular enemies

You have to consume all 3 items before you speak to Gerhnam. After you defeat him you'll instantly have to battle that optional boss. If you die, you can go back & only have to deal with the optional boss.

I'm gonna go try Cursed & Defiled soon.

I remember Defiled did not have as many enemies & the dungeons were smaller. I hope this is true for the next one plus some good drops hopefully.
