That wasn't as bad as what I did. As soon as we dropped and they were explaining the lamps. I thought you ran to them, stopped and then run to the next one once you could run fast again.

We all take off for the first lamp, I casually get to the lamp and stop dead to regen my speed and about 8000 thrall just devour me. Lol. I didn't realize it was just a tiny pause and start running again. Worst part was Adam dying trying to turn around and revive me.

My bad.

But being as how there were no experienced sword bearers in the group, I took it upon myself to wield the sword and slice and dice Crota. It took us 4 or 5 times to beat him. Okay, so 1 VoG normal, and 1 CE normal tonight.

And if anyone else wants a little guidance on how to run sword, I'll do my best to explain and help. Should be fun.

This week at Bungie, we completed work on the next Destiny Update.

Now we clear the runway and prepare for a safe landing. The team is still picking the perfect day with the right conditions. This is careful work. I promise to Tweet out a signal as soon as we have a flight plan. It will be very soon.

To keep you engaged in the process, we’ve been talking about this update for weeks now. Included in its contents are some things we haven’t detailed out yet, including:

PVP Ammunition – The Crucible team wants to change the way ammo crates dictate the flow of a battle.

The latest Destiny Weekly Update introduces two new features of the upcoming update that Bungie hadn’t mentioned yet.

The first is the option to display your helmet in the tower, a welcome little touch for those of you with awesome rare loot.

Speaking of rare loot, the second is the ability to protect or lock pieces of gear, to prevent their accidental dismantling.
