He's covered in thick feathers so his business isn't sticking out, hence no pants.

But why does he need a towel when getting out of the shower?

Almost time to take my car to the dealership and then go to work on the dealership shuttle. Donald Duck needs a towel because he's a wet bird.

I have to pay the DMV a visit soon for a Photo ID. I'll have to bring a copy of my bank statement as one of the 6 points needed to obtain the ID - should I blank out my account number(s)? I'm not comfortable turning information this sensitive over to these people. Also, the statement is 6 pages long - do they need all 6 pages or just the first page with my name and address?

There's something of a spat between two members in another thread, and one member brought up how he has been on this board for longer than the other member as if that even means anything, yet he brought it up with an air of elitism.

Not sure how many pages but agree on the 6 steps just being too much. Took me 3 trips last year and that's just inexcusable.

Can't you just use your social security card and birth certificate? I think that's all I had to use when I got my ID and drivers license.

They have to be originals, no photo copies.

All I showed was my current license, social security card, and birth certificate.

absolutely YES! they have no right or cause to see any of those numbers. and if they tell you that they do, ask to see theirs. it's only fair. and yes, i'm being totally serious about that. dmv workers have no right, under ANY law, to see very personal and private information such as that. they get to see your address and car tag numbers/letters; but anything else is private and they have no cause or right to see them.

In NJ

Passport - 4 points
SS Card - 1 point
ATM card - 1 point

I wouldn't use my bank statement if I didn't have to.

I guess it varies by state. In NY and NJ you need a total of six points to apply for a Driver's License, Learner's Permit or Photo ID. I'm not sure of the requirements if you're just renewing but I believe you may still have to come up with 6 points. I don't think a birth certificate counts toward the required points in NJ but I could be wrong. Thank goodness my passport is still valid.

I'm in NJ so I'm breathing a sigh of relief that I can use my ATM card and don't have to present a bank statement. It didn't mention that on the State DMV website. Thanks

I'd bring a backup just in case. But I think your old license could be a 1 point too.

yeah, that's kind of crazy that they go on a points system.

my argument is that most people don't have a second photo id; and some places ask for 2 photo ids. i mean who carries around 2 photo ids at all times? not most people, i'd be willing to bet. yeah, you can have a passport, but would you carry it around with you if you didn't need it? they only forms of identification i have are my license, my ss card, and my birth certificate. and the last 2 stay in a safe. they're never with me on a daily basis, only my license.

but having a "points system" is really weird, to me.

I miss the Roseanne reboot. Got 8 of the 10 episodes on Vudu thankfully before they took it down.

I didn't win the lottery this weekend so my plans of retiring and buying a 2019 ZR-1 are on hold.

Be thankful you have a job bro. I lost mine today because of an accident that happened last month resulting in my leg requiring stitches that wasn't my fault but my lazy piece of shit supervisors fault because he rather talk to the women that work with us than do his ****ing job.
