Damn, the Julie Darling listing even states Code Red on the paper slip. Though I do have to wonder the real condition of those reels given it looks like they're sitting in a garage.

Don't think so as they're two different companies which seem to have no relation to one another other than maybe Synapse has a license from Redoak to release Just Before Dawn. Redoak Communications' president is Vlado P Hreljanovic and it's primary address is based out of a residence in Florida.

Yeah, god forbid I give my opinion on a release...

It's not that great, slightly above the previous blu-ray. Julie Darling looks like barely anything was done in terms of restoration. I'm glad I got it, but let's not pretend the release was anything to write home about, especially considering the less than 1 page discussion on the 4K on this board and the absolute lack of any reviews outside of a couple outlets.

These aren't the type of films given great care and stored in the WB vault, so we're lucky to be getting them at all. As for 4K, I'm the last person calling for it. It's nice on my big display, but I'm probably the only person not wanting every film I look at to look like some shitty Marvel movie. Different strokes ....

Then why immediately jump to calling me an idiot, a neckbeard, a basement dweller, etc? I initially commented that the releases looked beat to crap (not looked like crap) and Dave went off on a wrestling tirade because I expressed an opinion.

The release is just fine, but it looks like NOTHING was done to it. Combined with the other issues I gave about this label are why I think there is a TON of room for improvement.

All people do here is complain. Complain about any manner of things they have zero ability at understanding. I think Dave has far better understanding of the capabilities and limitations of what he is trying to do, than any idiot on this forum. Own it man!
