My system is not HDCP compliant by functional necessity, and I'm not rewiring things to watch one film. Other 3D titles are working just fine as normal, including the original Jurassic Park 3D.

Not jumping the gun just yet, but if that turns out to be the issue and this is some new coding choice by Universal, they can have it back.

Is the Target bonus disc a DVD or a blu-ray?

I was wondering if anyone knowledgeable would be able to help me out. I purchased the first 3 JP movie tins and the giftset today at Best Buy and used a $10 gift certificate. The total came out to $103.88 for everything including the gift certificate. I read in the ad that if you buy the 3 tins and Jurassic World, you get 20% off. My receipt doesnt reflect the additional savings.
What is the proper way to go about rectifying this? I called the "Elite Members" number and was surprised how little they helped me. I've read that members can have stuff refunded to them over the phone. The lady said that I needed to go to any BBY store and settle it with them. And she couldn't help me locating one of the free JW BBY t-shirts. Really nice, but very unhelpful. Doesn't seem right.
Anybody have some thoughts?

Picked my copy up tonight. I pre-ordered the standard 2D. But after looking a the 3D and the lithograph cover I wanted that instead. I headed over to the customer service where mine was waiting and asked if I can get the 3D instead. The had to do a non receipt return and waved the $2 tax and that brought the 3D down to $22.99 instead of $24.99. I'm a happy camper now.

How much was the Gift Set?
Jp1 - 11.99 +20%=9.99
Jp2 - 11.99 +20%=9.99
Jp3 - 11.99 +20%=9.99
---------------------------
JP Tins = 29.97
Rewards = 10.00
---------------------------
$19.97
Gift Set - I'm guessing $69.99 - 20% = ?
before discount:
70+20=90+ whatever tax your state charges. so, 103.xx is fairly close. But yes, you were over charged a few dollars...

Thanks for your help Gold Ranger & hariseldon! Yea, that's what I'm gathering too. I'm guessing the argument could be made, but I don't think it's worth the hassle. I'm not sure if it was for one title or the entire purchase, but I think it was just for one title.
I'm just a little bummed on the shirt. No one to blame but me. Should've preordered or gone to store at opening. I did neither, which is REALLY odd for me, but I wasn't in a rush. But I'll see if I can acquire a shirt sooner or later. Thanks again for your help!

Thought I should clear this up. I see videos on YouTube saying the tin case is a Best Buy, amazon and Walmart exclusive. I wanna clear it up. The tin case is a limited general release. This means every store and online store is selling the tin case for a limited time only, it's not a store exclusive.

Samsung Blu-ray/Samsung TV/Sony Receiver

Getting a "Your 3D Set-up was not detected" screen - it's disc native, it's something on the coding of the disc, not a message generated by my Blu-ray player (it has JP pictures).

I updated my firmware, and still - no go. Never seen anything like this before - won't even let me get to a menu. Only thing I can do is eject the disc.

I even toggled my TV's 3D mode manually, glasses connected, whole nine yards - and nope, it's got me gated.
Im going to guess that Samsung doesnt have a firmware update that can handle the new movie yet.

Yes, the only exclusive tins are for the first 3 JP movies which are sold exclusively at Best Buy for $11.99. While supplies last!

Has anybody else had a problem getting the 2D disc to load? I'm watching on a PS3 that is up-to-date with its software. It recognizes the disc as Jurassic World, but just sits on the Universal loading icon and never takes you to the menu. I switched to the digital copy to watch the bonus features, but was wondering if its a defective disc or if anybody else is having this issue?

Universal blu Rays all have this feature (which I hate) where if you leave the movie on the main menu too long or paused too long it goes to this moving universal logo. In order to get out of it you have to press the up arrow button above the round ok/enter button in the center of the remote.

Glad to see I wasn't the only one to go with Walmart Lunchbox! I really like the looks of it as well!

I still think I may pick up the Tin (By itself) off eBay!

Watching it now. I had totally forgotten this had a much wider aspect ratio (2.00:1) which does not take all the screen like a 1.85:1 ratio would. Very minimal use of black bars but still distracting a bit.

reading the 3D review on here sounds a bit disappointing. I was really looking forward to checking out the 3D...of course I am still looking forward to it but I am a little let down by the review. Anybody else checked it out in 3D?
