VA tech honestly was never as good as their national rankings, no offense. Again another reason I think the BCS rankings need to be done about 1-2 months into the season instead of before the season starts.

I don't think they've been a top 25 team since they won that NC truth be told, really they've gotten over-ranked I guess cause they feel they need to throw the ACC a bone or something

Beamer is much like Fridge here got some results and then just settled in and is just cruising along where a coach like the Boise coach is hungry as hell.

I know Boise has been trying to get the NCAA to get them in a different conference so they can play better teams. Either the NCAA doesn't want to or the big teams in the other conferences don't want them.

These aren't the BCS rankings. These are just the regular old AP polls. The actual BCS rankings don't come out until near the end of the season. I tuned in at the score of 20-7, BSU, now it's about to be 20-14. I'm still surprised to see Boise State doing this well. And I don't normally care about this sort of thing, but both these teams have two of the coolest uniforms I've seen. Especially those matte clack Va Tech helmets.

Refs love them some Boise... Oh well I'm just happy Vtech did enough to make the case Boise doesn't deserve to be anywhere near a national championship game.

Boise State did what it took to probably win this game. Now are they the best team in the country? No but they're way too good for the WAC and they've made that point for about 8 years now.

Barley beating a VERY overrated Vtech shouldn't be grounds for NC contention, EVER. And if Boise some how on gods green earth got into the NC, I'd root for any team in college football to smash them even Ohio State.
